MapleStory America Commercials

I saw 3 different ones, and the first I saw was last night. Sadly they are nothing like the commercials Korea had. You dont see ANYTHING about MapleStory til the end and even then its the logo for a split second with the music you hear when MapleStory loads up before you get to the log in screen.

I've seen them. From an advertising standpoint, they're kinda like HeadOn. They do a good job getting you to remember them... but you really don't know what the hell the product is about.

As a Mapler though... they're kinda iffy. Humorous I guess.

Had they shown actual footage, people would already know what its like and they would make a decision to play or not.

I saw the slapping eachother with a fish one.

That made me think of the frozen tuna.

The one with the guy and snails on his chest. I was thinking he has green snails on him and one must be Bob xDDD

OMG.
I saw a bunch of those on Comedy Central last night.
They're just... weird.

First one I saw:
-One guy asks another guy(who is wearing nothing but speedos) why he's walking a pig with a tophat on a leash.
-One where a guy is lying face-up with a snail on his chest or stomach.

The convos are always:
..."Because it's FREE."

..."Hey, that's like Maplestory."

Then the Nexon logo.

The tuna one is the best out of the three in my opinion. The other two are just a little too odd for me xd

They were good but the way they made them practically the same and without anything really wow it kind of seems really low budget. The ideas were great but the repeated feeling really turns me off when viewing all three. They could use work but they are on the right track.

Lmao I hate headon commcercials. No way am I goign to look up some retarded product on the itnernet because the commercial didn't explain well enough. x_X

Pig with Tophat
Snails on Chest
Fish slapping
and one with a mushroom (hard to remember because I was EXTREMELY tired when it came on)



The marketing strategy seems to be like both; HeadOn and Comcast. Annoying and Odd

I know for sure the HeadOn one made me go on the internet and find out what it did...
