Welcome Travelers, please come and rest your weary feet. I offer you food and drink should it be your wish. While we pass this time indulge me, I bed, and lend me your ear for a tale I have to share. A story as old as time of a young woman, who like the mighty eagle has began her path alone...
Everything hurt, from the crown of her head to the soles of her feet. Winter was coming , the trees had already began to shed their leaves, leaving their mighty branchs bare and incomplet. Games was getting harder to find and she knew she didn't have enough to last the long cold months ahead, but she had no way of traveling futher than her feet could carry her, much less getting large game back to her teepee. A soft sigh slipped past her lips as Kean ducked into her warm teepee.
It had seemed like such a good idea when she left her father's tribe. After his death there was nothing to hold her in the village. Certinaly no one had gone out of their way to make the young warrior woman feel welcome. What she hadn't counted on was the soul deep lonilness that engulfed her. Never before had she realized how much interaction had truely gone into her everyday tribal life. Now there was no one. Tears gathered in her blue eyes as she bowed her head.
"Great Father who gave life to us all, please hear your child. My father and my mother have gone to you in the sky leaving me alone. I am alone and in need. Please...help me..."
