If that's your excuse it's pretty sad.

Theres no reason to act that way. Some people take school very seriously, some people have sports every day til very late hours, and some people arent even allowed online during the week. Whatever the reason, dont hold it against him just because he cant be on much.
Being here in the guild is a choice anyway, and leaving is a choice as well.
Someone saying goodbye because theyre leaving like that is doing it because they care about us and care enough to say that theyre leaving. isnt that better than someone who just leaves and never says a word?
Please dont call him a traitor for having a life...

As much as I don't want anyone to leave, I understand people have other priorities. But if anyone leaves and ends up having free time later, you're always welcome back. <3
