This is my first ever cosplay and would you believe that the jacket I have to maul and dye black is from an old wedding dress that was $900 that I for for $20AU?
Anyway.... tell me what you guys think of it and some tips on how I can make things easier lol.
I'm getting a tiara from ebay and raiding costume shops for the marching baton.Well.... Manifest has come and gone and I had a ball. The top and skirt I dyed came out navy blue so I screamed and made a last minute costume with a black trenchie and a black skirt. It came out rather well. Even though I didnt get the tiara and pimp cane XD So I just said that I am the female Bob Bryar X3 Cos I based the coat off his PICS:

needs some fringe under skirt if possible and maybe gold and silver lining on the sleves and skirt bottom as well as the jacket ends that button. Other than that, great job!!

Both my closest door, and the back of my door (For my FFTL Poster is on the other side) Is coverd in MCR pictures.
But now, they are all gone in a box in my closet. I to take them off because we are moving.
I envy your non-moving ness and abilty to keep your doors sexy

The Screamo Kid needs some fringe under skirt if possible and maybe gold and silver lining on the sleves and skirt bottom as well as the jacket ends that button. Other than that, great job!! yeah I'm planning to do the lining =] And because the clothing is polyester I need to use a high toxic polyester dye for it DX And sorry... fringe underskirt? What is that if you dont mind? smile Edit: oh and you see the buttons that are currently on the jacket. I have taken them off and are using them for the ends because I like them 4laugh

I now have fishnets, chucks and the buttons on the jacket have been taken off and the jacket and skirt are ready to be dyed in a highly toxic black dye DX
But.... should I have chucks or boots? I can easily go out and find a cheap pair.

alright guys I need some more help.
I've just ordered the black dye for the clothing and borrow a pair of laced boots from a friend =]
Now... what kind of materials do you think I should use for the white bits of the jacket? normal thick ribbon type things or should I use fabric?
