Foo Fighters make stance on emo official.

Ok if you believe that, you have no sense of humour, which apparently most of the Kerrang readers lack too, the Foo Fighters are releasing a song entitled "Cheer up boys (your makeups running)" which is intended to parody bands like Fall Out Boy, Panic! and My Chem, now its not so much the song I'm interested in, but the reaction a parody song has generated, that proves once and for all... emo's really are no fun.

i dosnt really care. I dont really listens to foo fighters, but maybe they right? A whole music genre based on how bad you are feeling... its kinda bummer

That has nothing to do with emo.

You're confusing the self-obsessed nature of post-hardcore with the introspective nature or emotive hardcore. They're very seperate things.

okay so maybe im wrong about whats emo music or not. But am i wrong if i say that bands like MCR and AFI is pretty much based on the sad feelings? And aint they emo bands`?

No, they are not emotive hardcore.

They are bubblegum pop/rock. And earlier, AFI did hardcore I think.

But I very much doubt you're referring to their hardcore.
