Okay, so I'm going to Projekt Revolution in 11 days. I'm really excited. It's my first concert ever, and MCR's gonna be there! But I'm only 13. My friend and I were gonna get pit tickets, but they were sold out. We got lawn seats instead. I was pretty bummed at first, but then I kept hearing from everybody that the lawn is even roudier than the pit. People make their own pits on the lawn, and mosh their heart out. It's even more crowed and so on and so forth. Is this true?
If so, I'm really excited, but also sort of nervous. Also, my friend is no longer allowed to go with me, and even though my Dad will be chaperoneing (sp?) me, he's going to back out when I start headbanging and so forth. And with all that I'm hearing about the lawn, I'm sort of getting nervous. So honestly here, am I going to be trampled to death?

also, is there any merchandise on sale at PR? like, MCR stuff. because I'd really like to get something, but I'm not sure if they'll have it because, obviously, they're not the only band who's going to be there.

From what my friends have said about lawn seats they are rough. Dont wear anything you wouldnt want to get ruined or dirty. But it might not be too bad, it really depends on the bands and the people there...

You're going to the one on the 14th? So am I!
With lawns, there's more open space, so if there are mosh pits, it would be unlikely for you to be near any.
And they will have mcr merch. They'll probably have merch from all the bands!

Hiro_wolf From what my friends have said about lawn seats they are rough. Dont wear anything you wouldnt want to get ruined or dirty. But it might not be too bad, it really depends on the bands and the people there... I like it rough. Just not bone-breaking, nose-shattering rough. I am a little nervous about that...

Yes the lawn is very rowdy. Look i'm 21, and even that wasnt enough to spare me the pain....also I was dissapointed with the merch they sold at PR.....but keep a look out or ask about the art book they are selling. And they should be selling it. Mike Shinoda (Linkin Park) said that it has different drawings/art from members of all the bands that are performing....at least that is what he said at my local radio station. But seriously, don't let your dad back up to much from you, like I said I got hurt....and that was with three guys trying to protect me from getting hurt. Oh and a bit of a warning....people do start smoking pot and doing things other people do NOT want to see....I personally blame the Trojan Condoms tent for that.

it depends on if the lawn is like..a really enclosed space
at the camden NJ tweeter center it's enclosed, so its just wall to wall people
however in Saratoga NY, it's not enclosed and the lawn is just...a lawn it's pretty calm
and the lawn was calm at nine inch nails
but surprisingly nine inch nails isn't a very rowdy crowd

I've definitely known of lawn seats being as, if not more, intense than the pit.
I wanna get lawns seats to see them at Blossom on the 17th, and sneak into the pit. x]
