In order to save those dearest to her, Xena was willing to pay the price to bring them back to her. Now human, she made the decision to stay in New York with Raph along with their daughter, Yumi. Thanks to Loc, she and Yumi were given access to visit her home dimension.

Raph had spent the next day scrounging for supplies. He now had two ((one and a half?)) living people in his home to take care of. They needed blankets, food, medicine, clothes, weapons. It was hard to find, but he had gotten plenty of blankets, and grabbed the last bit of canned foods from the nearest grocery store and a few things he hoped were still good. How long did candy last? Kids should be able to try candy. Thinking of said kid made him want to panic. He didn't know the first thing about taking care of a kid. What if he screwed up? What if she grew to hate being in this ******** up apocalypse and in turn hated him for letting her come here? He shook his head to clear it. No time to worry about that. He had military to dodge and get back to the graveyard. It wouldn't take him as long as he thought it would with a shopping cart, (he had greased the wheels until they were very quiet) but he reached the graveyard and made it to the mausoleum and knocked on the door.

Xena had spent most of next day resting, still recovering from her ordeal while Raph was out on a supply run. Not only that, she was trying to adjust to being human. Yet some habits die hard, such as sniffing the air for a certain scent. She was used to having her keen senses. To add to the list, there was also Yumi to take care of now. She could imagine how much the child longed to meet her and Raph. Hearing the knock on the door, she got up from the cot and made her way over to answer the door, though she wobbled a bit as she wasn't used to not having her tail. Opening the door, she smiled a bit to see that it was Raph. "Welcome back. Found anything good?"

"I hope so." he said rubbing the back of his head. "Tell Yumi ta come help me bring it in. Don't wantcha ta fall tryin ta haul in bags." he said as he pulled some bags from the shopping cart and carried them in to place on a makeshift table close to the back wall.

"Right here, Papa!" Yumi said running over, her little tail wagging happily. She would grab a bag, and with some effort, pulled it from the cart and carried it in to place it on the table as well.

Raph ruffled her hair and handed her a bag of candy before going back out to grab a couple of more bags.

He got a few of the can goods she had taken out of the bags and began to put them in the cubby holes that use to hold caskets before Raph had taken the place over. The bodies had already come to life and joined the other zombies, so he hadn't felt bad about disposing of said caskets.

She remained relaxed in his arms as he nuzzled her hair. Hearing Yumi's tease, she blushed a bit before looking at her. "Sorry, your father here tends to be a bit mischievous." She chuckled as she playfully poke Raph's plastron. "Feeling left out? I could fix that." Smirking a bit, she gently pushed herself away from Raph and she slowly walked over towards Yumi. "I want to play a game..." She said softly, yet in a seemingly serious tone. "The rule of the game is simple..." When she got behind Yumi, she attempted to wrap her arms around her before attempting tickle her. "You're to try to get away from me or be tickled to death. Think you can handle it?" At that point, the seemingly serious tone she used turned into a more playful one.
