La Petite Fantaisie is an lavish restaurant tucked away from the busy streets of Diagon Alley. The fine dining and exquisite service are only some of the things you will experience here. Need a place for a romantic date night or celebratory dinner, look no further. La Petite Fantaisie is the perfect place. Beside the elegant dinner and the classical brunch, we also serve traditional high tea.

La Petite Fantaisie serves a wide variety of foods from from fresh seafood to traditional Chinese cuisine. Even if there is something you happen to be craving and don't see it on the menu just ask to talk to the head chef, Luke. He can make almost anything you could hope to want. There is also a different places to eat, like the courtyard, private room, and even the chef's table.

The restaurant is owned by Luke Bennett, who is the head chef. He is a talented chef and keeps everything running smoothly. Most all of the Bennett family works here as well but they are always looking for more employees.

Luke walked slowly into the new building and looked around with awe. He was still trying to get used to the fact that he owned this place. Luke had never really knew what he wanted to do with his life besides being a dad. Sure he could have enjoyed a career as a concert pianist or an actor but that would probably never happen in his lifetime and he had no desire to work at the Ministry or return to school to get a muggle job so this was almost as incredible. This was also a dream that he had for a long time and now it was coming to fruition. He took another look around and could imagine the place on a busy night, bursting with people to enjoy a real meal. Not like those at some of the nearby pubs. He just hoped that other wizards would appreciate his style. Everything cooked by hand and made to order. Apparently different from most but he much prefered it this way. Though today was not about the restaurant. No there were other thing occupying his mind. Like a wedding. If she had said yes of course, though he doubted she wouldn't. He had scarcely seen a couple happier than his nephew and Jane. If all went according to plan they would soon be joined by the couple and the rest of both families. At this point he wasn't sure who Darcy had told about the proposal so it would be interesting to see how things would go that night. Though he was certainly excited.

Kaylynn bounced into the restaurant, she was ecstatic. Her baby brother proposed! And they were gonna find out what Jane said today! Okay, well, maybe not baby brother, but still! Her brother had a good chance of being married soon. She saw her uncle looking around the restaurant. They were all really, really proud of him. He had found something he loved and managed to make something of it, which was pretty amazing. And, it was really pretty. And, he had given her a job, which she needed pretty badly. "Hi, Uncle Luke! Excited?" Kaylynn questioned when she got closer to him. The brunette was so jittery and it was hard to understand why. She'd rarely ever felt like this before. But she felt like dancing, like spinning around like a ballerina, and she wasn't all that good at dancing. 'Maybe it's because I'm nervous?' She thought to herself and looked around, occasionally checking her phone to try and determine how much longer Darcy would be.

Emrynn walked around the new place, looking curiously at every little thing. He was still unsure about this place, but he knew it made his daddy happy, so he decided to be content with it. He walked up to the man himself, then rested his head against the older man's hip. Emmy looked up toward his dad, deep green eyes wide. The eight year old offered a small, yet supportive smile, then resumed his awkward glancing around. Why, oh why did he have to forget his bunny at home today of all days?

Cerrynthe had been skipping about in the fancy restaurant since she'd arrived, having fun sneaking up on her brother and making him jump, particularly when he was focused on something or another. As she skipped back out to the main room, she saw Emmy snuggled against their daddy's side, which was weird. Cerry decided to go and talk to her auntie Kaylynn. "It smells nummy in here! Dontcha think so too? I like it! Very pretty!" Her sharp voice trilled higher as she spoke, flailing a bit in her excitement. Just like that, the girl was dancing around the room once more, squawking in ecstasy. She already loved it here, particularly since she got to eat her daddy's food all the time anyway!

Amberly followed her youngest children around as they wandered around the restaurant. Once they reached the main room, both her husband and niece were there. Emmy immediately went to Luke's side while Cerry started talking to Kaylynn. Amber smiled at her husband and tucked her hand in his. She was really excited for her nephew's announcement. Jane just had to say yes! Especially, considering his plan. Kaylynn probably even helped out plan the proposal. She could hardly think of a time where Darcy had been happier than when he was with Jane. And Jane looked pretty happy herself. She couldn't imagine what would happen if Jane had said no.

Luke smiled as his niece entered with his two children trailing closely behind. The little family was starting to gather in a place he hoped they would for many years to come. The family would also hopefully be bigger soon. That thought made him even happier. Who knew? Maybe he'd be a grandfather sometime soon. Or well great-uncle anyway. Though he was jumping to that too soon, probably. "Oh you'd be surprised." He said with a slight laugh, answering Kaylyn's question. He really was. He couldn't be sure if it was more about the restaurant or the engagement. He suddenly felt a small body attach itself to his leg and he smiled once again. Emmy seemed a little unsure of the place and he couldn't say he blamed him. It was a new experience for an eight year old. He just hoped he'd grow to love this place and maybe even work here when he was old enough. He ruffled the little man's hair and focused his eyes on his daughter. She seemed to have a very different feeling on the matter. It was definitely like her not to stay still but this was more than usual. All the excitement of the day would do that to four year olds, especially Cerrynthe. Soon there was another body to enter the restaurant. Luke smiled once again at his beautiful wife. He was a lucky man to have her and was thrilled that Darcy and Jane might very well soon have that same thing. He kissed the top of her head when she slipped her hand in his. "Well hello beautiful" He said with a large smile "How are you doing?" He asked fairly certain he knew the answer already.

Kaylynn smiled at her uncle and was soon joined by her cousins and aunt. When Cerry came up to here and began talking excitedly and flailing around."It does smell good in here. And it is very pretty! Perfect actually," She smiled at her cousin. It was perfect for a wedding or even just the announcement. 'Now, all we need is a little music...'

Emrynn shifted a bit, looking uncomfortable. He really wasn't very good with people, particularly a bunch of people making kissy-faces and holding hands and stuff. He knew his uncle Darcy would be asking Janie to get married, and from what he knew, it was just like... a super-girlfriend. The eight year old knew that married people had to wear fancy clothes and be super cuddly and stuff, but worse than that, they had to kiss. That was the icky part about it, of course! That, and making babies! He couldn't even imagine how that happened! Uck! "Daaad? How many kisses makes a baby be born?"

Cerrynthe smiled at her auntie, happy she agreed. The four year old was the only one that was against the wedding, as she was still quite attached to her uncle. The fact that he had a new lady in his life had always bothered the blonde girl. When Emmy asked his question, she sniffed her nose, looking annoyed at him. "Emsy, we all know that's not where babies come from, duh." She made a face, as if to say she was obviously correct, then continued. "Yea. You gotta go to the hopsickle and pay the nurse lady to call the stork to bring a baby from heaven. Then the nurse lady gives you the baby and kicks you out." She crossed her arms, then stuck her tongue out at her "super duper smart" big brother. Honestly! Boys were quite silly, weren't they?

Amberly smiled at Luke endearingly, "Hello, handsome. I am very excited and very happy, you?" She replied. Amber blinked at Emrynn's question, unsure of how Luke would respond, but when Cerrynthe took hold of the question, it took all Amber had to keep from laughing out loud. Amber just smiled at the pair, letting her husband answer the question. That was something she wanted to explain waaaaay later. And, though she was sure Luke would come up with something, Amberly wanted to see his reaction. She was sure he would handle it more maturely than her niece, who seemed on the verge of tears from laughing.

spaceDamien stood in the entrance to the newly opened La Petite Fantaisie, hands in his pockets, trying very, very hard not to look nervous. This was ridiculous. He and Marina had been together for over two years now, almost three. He shouldn't be nervous about going on a date with her... but he knew how she got about anything even remotely 'fancy.' Marina tended to not do so well with anything that she thought would require her to wear a dress... not that he cared what she wore, hell, she could show up in a burlap sack and muddy combat boots for all he cared. He just wanted to take her out on a date. Given that they spent most of the year at Hogwarts, he rarely got to take her out on a proper date. They could go to The Three Broomsticks or Madame Pudifoots, but really, there were only so many times one could go to two different places before it seemed less like a date and more like Saturday. But this place had just opened, and he assumed it would have a different menu... hopefully. He really just wanted to take her on an actual date. And maybe show her off a bit, yeah. Even if she did wear a burlap sack and muddy combat boots, she'd still be the most beautiful girl in the room. He tapped his foot a bit and crossed his arms, trying not to look like he was worried about getting stood up... because he wasn't. Really. He totally didn't think Marina might freak out and decide not to meet him to eat... she totally wouldn't do that. Right?

Luke was about floored as the question came from his sons lips. He didn't know whether to cry or laugh or never let his son out of the house to discover things on his own. He tried to speak, he really really did try but he was so shocked, and trying to keep from laughing. "Well you see...babies...and parents..." There were really no words, then Cerry decided to added her two cents and he almost started laughing all over again. THey were too young to even consider this! They couldn't possibly be growing up. That would make him old...oh. He tried to speak once again, rubbing a hand through his short brown hair and ended up nodding. "Yep." He said still nodding. "You get married...and kiss." Oh this was so going badly. "Then you go get...a baby." So maybe he was lying but even if he was remotely old enough to understand or actually need the information, this was really really not the time or place. There were way too many ears here, Cerrynthe mostly. "Yep. Kissing." That was all he could say.

Marina was calm. Very calm. Very very calm... Okay, that was a lie. She didn't have a lot of experience with dates. She had experience with dates going horribly wrong and her having to have to fight her way out of the "date" setting...but not with actual dates that presumably involved chairs and tables and candles and fancy stuff. Fancy stuff. She sounded like she was ten. She winced at that thought and the crack that rang in her own ears as she materialized near the restaurant. Damien would most likely be waiting for her close by. She spotted him immediately, used to picking him out from crowds of people. Show time. Where was a mirror when you needed one??? She gingerly felt her hair a little, to make sure the hairband was still keeping her wild mane in place, and straightened the skirt of her dress, which the nice lady at the clothing store had assured her was "flirty" and she couldn't go wrong with that, right? She gripped her clutch a little harder, fixed the bracelet on her wrist, made sure both earrings were still intact, and really, really hoped the dark eye make up wasn't too much. The redheaded girl exhaled, resisted the urge to purse her lips and stand there for another few minutes, and approached Damien from behind, almost shyly tapping him on the shoulder. "Hi." Well. What a charming greeting. She was really bad at this, wasn't she? How can you be bad at going out on a date?! the voice in her head shrieked. You've been with him for nearly three years!

Emrynn blinked at his dad, then looked at his mom and aunt. Why were they laughing at him?! He wasn't dumb! The boy scooted away from his dad's side, then climbed in one of the chairs at a nearby table. He didn't even want to be here, but he wanted to watch Darcy and Janie..... but his bunny was tucked in his nice warm bed... Oh, the sacrifices he made for his family!

Cerrynthe beamed happily when her daddy said she was right. Everyone was smiling, so obviously they were proud of her smarts! Emmy seemed grumpy, but he always was. It was then that the girl noticed people outside, waiting to enter. With a squeal, she began bouncing on her feet, pointing excitedly toward them. "Daddy! Daddy!!! Looooookie!! Right there!!" She continued pointing, now tugging on her dad's pants and making a look of desperation. She was just so excited!!

spaceDamien was more than a bit surprised when Marina managed to sneak up behind him. He'd thought he'd been keeping a pretty good watch out, and she wasn't exactly hard to spot; her hair was rather distinctive, after all. Still, she'd managed it. He turned to face her, a smile spreading on his face, but it dropped when he really saw her, in favor of a more surprised expression. It wasn't a bad thing; on the contrary, actually. She looked lovely. He just honestly hadn't expected her to dress up... he thought he'd been really clear that she didn't need to, and he knew how much she hated it. He hoped she didn't feel like she was obligated or something... even though he knew that was exactly why she had. He was torn between a scowl because he knew she would probably rather be wearing literally anything else and completely floored. No matter how many times he managed to get her in them, he was still amazed at how lovely she looked in a dress and heels.

spaceHe swallowed hard, trying to keep his eyes on her face and not allow them to roam to other, much less appropriate areas. It was hard, though. She was breathtaking; the blue looked lovely on her pale skin, brought out the color of her eyes and made her hair seem brighter than usual. After standing there (and probably looking like a bloody idiot) for quite long enough, he smiled and took her hand, his other brushing against her cheek. "You look beautiful," he told her, and wished he had something else to say because damn if that wasn't the same thing he told her every time he saw her. He couldn't help it if it were true, though. He brought the hand he held to his lips and kissed her knuckles before leaning in to give her a proper kiss. When he pulled back, he gave her a gentle smirk and inclined his head to the doors. "Shall we?" He considered releasing her hand to offer his elbow, but figured that she'd taken the time to dress up and was going out of her comfort zone enough, he didn't need to treat this like some super formal courting ritual or something. It was just a date.
