Hazy blue. Purple, violet, and grey. An overarching greyness, a damp pallor on the horizon and a sheet over the night sky. I can't even see any stars, but I know that if I look hard enough, I'll see Orion gazing back down at me. He always is there in the winter, in the coldest months.
Still, there is moonlight filtering through the mist. The grass is wet and cold and seeping into my thin clothes, but I don't mind. I don't even know if my eyes are open or closed, but there seems to be some purpose to my being here. An event to seem, or perhaps a story to tell.
