ωhen the United States conducted two atomic bombings against the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan, they were expecting the deaths and suffering of thousands of innocent civilians.

Ϯhousands of aid workers and soldiers were sent over to help the dying and release the dead.

Ϯhey were exposed to left over nuclear material.
