"Naw. We got lucky with this house. It's in good condition and it was pretty cheap." Matt messed with his necklace. His mother opened the front door and flipped on the porch light. "You're home!!" She ran over and hugged Matt and greeted Stephanie and told them to come in.

Ami looked back at Stephaine. "I know you won't be. Maybe you can keep Matt out of trouble though." Matt's mother ruffed up his hair making it stick up. "Psh. Like I get in trouble!" Matt was walking to the fridge for another soda when his mom grabbed the hood of his jacket. "And just how many soda's have you had today?" Matt grinned. "Uh...one?" he lied. Ami looked over at Stephanie. "Soda count." she said meaning how many soda's has he actually had today.

"Lies!" Matt yelled while trying to get out of his moms grasp. "I don't think so Matt! No more soda today." Matt stopped struggling to get away and made a sad face at his mom. She gave him one of those mother looks. He stopped begging and walked off to his room. "Come on Steph! You get to see my room!" Matt said bye to his mom as she walked into the living room. Matt bounded down the hallway and into his room. He flipped on the light and waited for Stephanie.

Matt nodded. He pointed to the fold out loveseat on the other end of the room. "I'll sleep there and you can have my bed if you want or you can sleep in Nick's room..."
Nick, his older brother, wasn't home from the army yet but had his room set up when he came to visit.
