This is an rp based on the song my fiance says most reminds him of our relationship. I hope it works out as an rp but if it doesn't the song will still be special to me so..here goes.

When the day met the night.



Long ago as the sun hung in the sky he began to feel alone, his heart sank as he watched life on earth. Humans, birds, fish, all of earth's inhabitants fell in love and found companions. But he was left alone, so far away from any other being he felt doomed to solitude. So on he went with his life, rising and falling as always, alone. But then one evening in passing the sun looked back and saw her, the moon growing quietly into the darkened sky. She was so soft, so gentle and so quiet that he had never noticed her before. She did not rise in a flurry of color and blaze through out the day, but instead crept out from the darkness to offer a glow to the earth below her. He wished to speak to her but had to sink down into the earth and end the day. Every morning and evening from then on he would watch her as they crossed paths, and she would give him a gentle smile. Finally, one summer day he could bare it no longer and emerged in the night to approach her. As the eclipse went on the sun fell farther and farther in love with the pleasant moon and soon she came to love him as well. The sun had been saved from his eternal loneliness but he knew he could not stay beside his beloved moon. So after centuries of meeting in passing and the few allowed eclipses the two heavenly figures could no long stand being apart and each dropped pieces of themselves to earth, praying that they be born into creatures of the planet they both gazed upon.


The rp:
Now in our modern day the fallen pieces of the sun and moon have been born as human souls and are maturing to the point where love is in their dreams. The pieces are calling to each other, moons seeking suns and vice versa. I'm thinking about giving the people with sun and moon pieces powers but I'm certain to what extent these powers will go. As for the number of pieces I am putting NO LIMIT on them, just as long as the number of suns and the number of moons stay close to equal. And I probably don't need to mention it but suns love moons and moons loves suns, I don't think a moon should love a moon or a sun a sun. Also the idea is that Moons are more calm and gentle souls where as suns are more fierce an passionate.

personality-A gentle girl Lyra is the first to stand up for others but is very critical of herself. She has low self esteem and easily believes bad things said about her. She is very helpful and finds joy in taking care of those around her...but can easily forget about herself.
human bio- Lyra was adopted by her parents when she was two years old, they had never been able to have children and were fairly old when they took her in. She loved her parents very much and when her sickly mother died she took to caring for her father. She has always made friends easily but never really gets close to anyone. She is currently in her senior year of high school and works part time at a cafe after school. In the past few years she has become more and more attracted to other women, she worries that people will reject her if she tells them...also...though she never was before...Lyra has begun to feel desire for romance, love, and the touch of another. She has become more aware of her body and feels awkward with her newly developed curves that she acquired much later than her friends.
