Hughes just laughed. "Aw, come on, I know you've smelled worse. You stink about as bad as they do." He winked at Roy, mentioning to his suitcase. "I brought you some new clothes so you don't have to walk around in that smelly uniform for the rest of the week."

"Whose fault is that...." Roy whispered and took the suitcase. "So what exactly do you have planned for this vacation?" Roy asked knowing that if he didn't ask then they would most likely end up in jail.

"They have an awesome lake out here." Hughes grinned widely. "There's all of these legends and crap about it, too! They make wonderful bedtime stories for Elicia." The lieutenant decided not to ruin Roy's mood by rambling on about his daughter, so quickly changed the direction of his speech. "Well, she asked me to find out if all of those things people said about it were true. I figured it would be a lot of fun- you and I going hunting for spooks and stuff." Hughes laughed. "Two big, tough, military guys like us ought to be able to handle it. Elicia was sure we could."

Roy chuckled. "If we can't handle it then no one can. And I might find an excuse to fry someone/thing." He smirked pulling on the clean gloves Huges gave him.

"Fried fish-monsters, eh?" Hughes laughed. "That would make an awesome bed-time story." He pointed up at a street sign, smiling widely. "We turn right here. I got us a lake-view room at the Hotel Royale. It's not five-star, but I heard the food's good."

Roys stomach growled. "I hope so..." He mumbled following Huges into the hotel. "And I'm not quite sure about fish fried monsters, but maybe a deep fired monster." He said and smirked.

Hughes laughed, walking up to the front desk to check in. "We'll dump our stuff off in the room," He handed Roy one of the two room keys. "Then we can head to the restaurant downstairs. If we don't like it, there's plenty of other places along the lake."
