[The following report would appear on any television sets throughout Seacouver...Joe's, DeSalvo, etc...currently switched onto the evening news.]

"As part of an ongoing research project over the Marianis Trench in the Pacific Ocean spearheaded by the United States Navy, several pieces of large heavily specialized equipment and its attendant team of technicians were transported aboard the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise today by a C-130 Hercules heavy transport plane."

[Footage of the massive aircraft coming to a stop on the carrier's flight deck with seemingly little room to spare is shown on the screen. As the aircraft begins to rotate towards its assigned position, deck crew swarm to help guide the C-130 into place.]

"The C-130, privately owned and operated by Theriot Air out of Seacouver, Washington, was the first such aircraft to attempt a carrier landing since a brief test program aboard USS Forrestal in the mid 1960's. The pilot, company owner Etienne Theriot, remarked 'I always wanted to try that. Nothing like landing on a moving target to wake you up in the morning.' While much of the research program remains classified at this point, Navy and civilian researchers alike are excited to announce that the program's findings may well revolutionize our knowledge of oceanography and the construction of the planet."

[OOC - Sparking activity however I can. Check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BjNyQvhsQE8&NR=1 for footage of the Forrestal landings.]
