My idea is that Charlaine writes 6+ books, one for each of Sookie's love interests. It'll be pretty much the same story, but with a few changes.

In each story, the series will end with Sookie choosing a certain guy. Maybe each guy will have a different story, a chapter or two arc included in their book. For example:

1. Alcide's book features an arc about him having to control his pack, which has now started to fall apart, whilst also defending his spot as Pack Leader when a new pup joins the pack.

2. Quinn's mother is on a rampage again, but this time, she has covered her scent and took her daughter with her. Quinn (and maybe Sookie) must find them before anything might happen.

3. Eric fears that the new vampire bar down the street will destroy his business when their owner, Patricia Albright, seduces Pam. Eric fears that Pam will turn her back on him, telling Sookie that they are not just maker and makee, but friends.

4. Caroline Bellefleur and some more Bellefleurs are held captive when another state's vampire ruler wants to use Bill's computer for evil purposes (even though theywere being sold in Book 7; maybe he got an upgrade with important vampires on it, which shouldn't be released to the normal public for fear of the state's or country's safety and hierarchy). He and Sookie must save the Bellefleurs and bilk information from a human toadie -later turned into a vampire so Sookie cannot read the toadie's mind again).

Et cetera. I know, it would be hard work, but it's a good idea, right? Everyone is appeased. Weel, almost.

Discuss.

That would be good for appeasing the fans, but then they might not be the most cost-efficient things. The books probably wouldn't sell as well individually as they would if she just wrote one book to end the series. Of course, they could always produce fewer of each than they would of just one book. I like the idea of everyone being happy, though smile .

Everyone being happy in Bon Temps? That's no fun. How about the ender being about Sookie having to protect her nephew ends up constantly on the run from the FBI with all her man problems in tow. Each with their unique characteristics being used to help her get away and begin a new life away from Bon Temps. And it ends with her and her nephew together with no guy to cloud up her mind. But always wondering what if...

Sookie said she doesn't want to leave Bon Temps, and who would she be on the run with her nephew and not his father? And how would Sookie manage to take 6+ guys with her, especially when the sun comes out and two of them turn to ash and make kitty litter?

I could see Sookie being turned into a vampire at the end of the series. I know she is completely against it but the entire "I think though doth protest too much" saying comes into mind. I can't remember if this was from a fanfic or from the latest book but didn't she tell Eric not to turn her no matter how bad off she was? I dunno.

Its either that or Sookie is actually going to die. Then again I always think the main character is going to die.

But if neither of those happen I can see her completely cutting herself off from the supernatural world somehow. No more vampires. No more weres. No more shifters. No more anything. Maybe she'll get her memory erased or something, I dunno.

First of all, it was the second book when she told Eric she couldn't be a vampire.

She can't die, she's writing from her perspective.

And they can't erase her memory. Same as they can't dazzle her.

I personally really want sookie to become Eric's true wife. Fully devote herself to him. Become a vampire, but still keep her telepathy... but she can read minds, vampire minds fully,as well as all other Supes AND humans.

And then theres the one where she becomes Sam's wife during the day, but still belongs to Eric. Which really doesnt work, but i love Sam and Eric and in my head both parties win.

And then there is my last idea...
THE BOOKS NEVER END!

I think eventually Sookie will end up with a shifter or a human because she doesn't want to be a vampire and they won't want her when she gets old.

yes i have to agree. in the most recent book, she was getting over being tortured. shes truley starting to hate the supernatural. I would like it if she took off with hunter like someone said, and ran ffrom the fbi because they somehow found out her powers... break up with erik (though i love him so heart heart ) and go somewhere and fall in love.. OR maybe fall in love with hunters dad? LOL i think that'd be a good twist!
