Shadow sat up slowly, holding his hist from the strain. He looked around and everything seemed blurred, he blinked and rubbed his eyes. "Where...? Oh dear God this is exactly what I tried to avoid for so many years...." he said looking at Ethiriel realizing what had happened. He could feel her heart with his and he cursed lowly, " I get why you did this... but you should've just let me die.... Instead of putting yourself in this situation." he said glarring down at the ground. He couldn't show his true anger and disbelief.

Shadow looked back to Ethiriel, "I hope you made sure that you're not going to be experiencing the pain I will.... And you'll have to keep yourself out of trouble even more." he said and grimaced as he tried to stand by himself. He puased realizing what had all happened and he cursed lowly under his breath. "Shhttt..." he said and looked away glaring at the ground. The curse that the female had put on him, that would mean with this that he'd be screwed over.

He looked back up at Ethiriel "We need to find a way to unbind us.... I guess it's not that I don't appreciate what you've done but... all this is going to do to you is hurt you more." he said knowing exactly what he was talking about. He looked down at his hands, a small black vein started to disappear and he glowered down. I can't believe this... he thought to himself and slammed his hand down to the ground. This wasn't going to be easy for anyone anymore.

*Ethiriel looked fearfully on at Shadow. She could smell the fury coming off of him... and it scared the hell out of her. Did Shadow hate her now? Xeria, no, please... Not after she had tried so hard to save him... She began to panic again, her breathing coming in short gasps. When Shadow slammed his hand onto the ground, it caused her panic to peak again. She shrieked, scrambling backwards away from Shadow, fear coming off of her body in waves. Shadow's words weren't even registering anymore in her mind. She was beginning to see black around the edges of her vision, and her instincts were telling her to run again.*

Shadow looked up at Ethiriel and sighed, he could sense her fear just as well as she could sense his frustration. "I'm... not mad at you.... I just whis you hadn't. Only because any other magic causes some kind of curse that the Council memeber lady put on me. " he said to her, and only slightly panted, the pain kind of getting to him again.

*Ethiriel finally slowly looked up as Shadow, revealing tears rolling down her face which was still contorted in fear. She was still very scared, and it showed all over her body. But she still nodded to show she understood. She had yet to say a word. She wanted to say she was sorry. She wanted to say it wasn't magic, that it was holy power and there was a big difference between the two. She wanted to say 'I love you'. She wanted to say something. But it was like her voice box had temporarily ceased to work. The only thing that escaped her lips were tiny whimpers of sadness mixed with fear. Finally, she silently cleared her throat and opened her mouth to speak... but nothing came out. A look of panic crossed Ethiriel's face as she tried again. Still nothing. She looked up at Shadow, panicking worse than she had before. This time, she ceased breathing all together, which caused her to panic more.*

Shadow looked at Ethiriel eyes wide and he quickly moved up to her. He held her, "What's wrong..." he looked around her and glowered towards the sky. "who ever did this come back down here!!" he demanded in a bark. He figured out that this wasn't normal magic or anything quickly now, hince why he said this. His legs suddenly gave out underneath both of their weights and fell with Ethiriel in his lap. He cringed and looked down at her, " You'll have to forgive me for this..." he said and placed a hand in between her chest and tried to get her to start breathing her again.

*For a moment, Ethiriel's body didn't want to respond. Suddenly, she threw back her head and drew in a gasping breath, letting it out in a cry. She dropped her head as she heaved in air, trying to get as much oxygen into her lungs with each breath. After a few moments of this, she looked up at Shadow with grateful eyes. This time, when she went to speak, she managed to get something out.* Thank you... Shadow... *realizing she had her voice back, she burst into tears and threw her arms around Shadow, sobbing into his chest.* Oh Shadow, I'm so sorry! I shouldn't have done anything without your permission first, but I was so scared i was going to lose you and IreallythoughtyouweregoingtodiesoIdidthefirsthingthatcametomymindcuzIdidn'twanttoloseyouandididn'tcarewhatthepricewouldbeandIwassoscaredyouweregonnathinkIwasuglyandIcouldn'tstandthatcuzILOVEYOU!! *she buried her face in his chest and sobbed harder than before, never wanting to let go of the wolf demon whose lap she was sitting in.*

Shadows eyes widen and griamced feeling Ethiriels tight grip around his chest. " I... wouldn't care what you would've looked like... I care for you enough that it wouldn't have mattered... and I would've liked it if you discussed this with me first." he said and puased to take a breath. "You're... suffocating me..." he said furrowing his brows. He didn't mind the touch, but after all that he had been through and the bruises on his body it didn't feel all that good.

*Ethiriel heard Shadow gasp for breath and she quickly let go of him.* I'm sorry, Shadow... I was panicked, and I didn't know what else to do... * she looked down at her hands for a moment, then looked back up at Shadow.* You... care about me??

(( -raises eyebrow and pouts- Why does it always have to be my fault)) Shadow looked at her and sighed, taking the air in slowly again afterwards and then releasing it. " I do..." he said simply. He put his hand to his chest just gently rubbing it. He looked up at her again and frowned, "We... we should get back don't you think?" he asked her, a kinda unwanted but realization look on his face.

*Ethiriel blushed and nodded, enjoying the feeling of her hand in Shadow's.* Yeah... back to-- *It then came back to her what she had left Zero and Hien doing.* Ah, Shadow... I should warn you about something... *She gulped and blushed a deep red color.* I think Zero and Hien... might be... kind of... a couple now.

Shadow put his forefinger and thumb to the bridge of his nose and furrowed his brow. " I could sense that.. just because I may have broke the link to my mind for you guys I still could check up on you." he said and looked at her with a little bit of frustration. "I won't say a thing about it however." he said and looked towards the direction of the house. He grimaced, the last time he was there Zero and him were fighting. This'll be fun... he thought to himself and took a slow but stagger forward.

*Ethiriel could sense Zero's frustration, but she didn't say a word about it. She stood with Zero and watched him take a slow step forward.* Shadow, are you sure you should be walking? You're still injured a bit...

(( hehe you callled Shadow Zero... oopseh)) Shadow looked at her and frowned, hiding the little pain he was feeling right now. "I'll make it... hopefully." he said with a quizical look, as though he was questioning himself.  

[Sybil_Morganthe]

Sybil happened to be passing through the woods at the same time the two wolf demons were conversing. Her heightened hearing caught the one called Ethiriel questioning the others' ability to make it back to wherever they were going. His name... Shadow? She nodded, deciding to offer aid to the two. Hopefully, they wouldn't attack her. Softly, she made her way to where the two were. She peeked out from behind a tree, staring at the two briefly. After a moment, she slowly made herself known. "Um... Excuse me..." She called softly, not wanting to be too obvious. "I was passing through... and I happened to hear you need help getting home?" She dragged her toe through the dirt and looked down, embarrassed. They would probably think she was totally nuts. How would they know she could indeed get them home?

Shadow looked at the newcomer and said nothing, he just kept moving forward. He knew that if Ethiriel really wanted a the newcomer to help then she would say so , and he would not retaliate. But at the current moment he hadn't heard anything from her so he continued on.
