those would actually make more sense than the big daddy, because bioshock wasnt ps exclusive??? that was a stupid decision imo.

Well, the problem with the game isn't just deciding who should be in it, it's getting the rights for them to appear.
Nintendo had it easy, all of their characters that people actually care about are first party. So they didn't have to hassle with the legal trouble of getting the rights for characters to appear.
Sony is different, the majority of their games, even the "mascot" characters like Crash Bandicoot (was) and the like, are third party. So there's tons of red tape and legal costs associated with getting them on the game.
I don't know whether or not the inclusion of Bioshock s**t means that they're going to get more third party stuff or not.
But..let's hope. Or otherwise the game is going to suuuuuck.
