Saint Dreya, you are made of ******** win and candy. Thank you so much for all the hard work you put into the thread. I'm grateful and I'm honored to call you my friend.

Speaking of friends... Hey Bastemhet. Long time no see. Does Gho have permission to wear your bra as a hat on New Years?

My iPod pooped out. It wouldn't work without a restoration, which deleted about 3000 songs. And now it won't hold a charge.

I spilled soda on my ipod. Sadness. She's dead.

Oh, such a beautiful name for your iPod!

I'm truly honored you consider me as much, Tea. I have a glimpse of some of the meaning and energy you put into your words.

When I finally get done with school and get my actual ship assigned, and maybe my second class as well, I will most certainly have to coordinate my leave with one of the festivals in your area.

Happy New Year and all that to everybody here as well. I'm tired and will probably continue to be so for the next couple of weeks as I go through whatever is considered boot camp at my new job place, but I don't post a whole lot here anyway, so I trust you'll manage fine without me for a little longer. xd

@Dreya: If the issue remains after you restore it on another computer, it may be time to have it checked for repairs or look into another iPod. It's always recommended you try with another cable as well, of course, in case that's the problem, but if you don't have that, maybe there's a Genius bar you can walk by.

(I think you live in America, anyway? Apple has Genius Bars there, I'm pretty sure.. I know we don't have those here in the Netherlands yet, at least.)

In the end, I opted for the Sharman-Caselli deck. It is close enough to the rider-waite deck for me to learn the basics of the most popular system of Tarot and is apparently good for beginners. It also has artwork that I really like (It's much nicer than all the yellow on RW decks!).

I live. New job. Lots of information. Interesting new colleague/prior acquaintance who prefers starting the day with a crow's call because the days that don't tend to go bad.

On the first day that we didn't, I crashed the car into someone else's. No real damage to any of the people in either car, except for some stiffness the following days, but the Fiat 500 I drove is now a Fiat 450..

Last day, at least, the crows called again, and we did get home with everything we needed, at least. Just took quite some time..

Either way, I wish me luck in my new job. I have a feeling I´m going to need it.

So, hubby and I have mostly decided to move to California. I'm sold on the idea, just not on the execution. His current manager is setting him up with a job out there, but because of California's medical boards I'm likely going to have to re-test for my RVT so I can work out there. Not sure if I'll be able to get a job before I do that or if we'll get out there, I pass the test and then have to start looking for a job sweatdrop We'll also be leaving both of our families behind and my Mother is not going to be happy about it. But I really can't take too many more winters in this climate, and southern California should do wonders for my health. Just really nervous about this sweatdrop

Be careful of mudslides and wildfires. And be warned that it gets cold and rainy in California, the water just washes away faster in the south. Oh, and we have border checks for fruit and vegetables so eat your oranges before you get here. Cost of living is high out here, especially in the Bay area and in southern California so don't be too shocked at prices. I have no idea what an RVT is, so I can't help you there ^_^
