kage no neko Shearaha It's a fun job, at least the breeding and management portion. The euthanasia and tissue collection, not so much. But every job has it's good and bad parts. It's pronounched she-ARE-ha, with a slight roll on the R. But I answer to your pronounciation as well wink I just wonder what sorts of schooling you need to go through to get a job like that. I figure vet stuff, but anything else? I'm a veterinary technician, but I'm hoping to get back to school and finish my Biology Bachelors. Most jobs require at lest a Bachelors degree, I've only got an Associates sweatdrop

I've been thinking to major in biology, but then I couldn't think of what kinds of jobs I could get with it..

I've been thinking to major in biology, but then I couldn't think of what kinds of jobs I could get with it.. Yes, you can work in research with a Bioloy Bachelors. I got my VT first and got in with the facility working in Veterinary Services. I got the colony management job because of my work experiance combined with my VT. Really to work in husbandry, at least where I work, all you need is a HS Diploma. From there you can get different certifications that require experiance in the field and some labs will hire based on experiance alone. I actually just got my Authorization to Test letter for my second tier exam biggrin sweatdrop biggrin
@ Calixti: You can't be a Vet Tech with just a Bio degree, you still have to go through specialized classes and pass the National Board exam, then the requirements to work vary from state to state. You can be a Vet Tech with a Boi degree, but that's just icing on the cake.
I want to go back to school, finish my Bio degree and then continue on and get a Bachelors or Masters in Genetics.

saint dreya That's what I'm finding. Yes, the max isn't quite as much as what my initial numbers were, but I'm also working with physical exhaustion and far more reps before maxing out. Either way, this is all so I can meet my requirements for situps and kill my requirements for pushups. The squats, well, I miss my beautiful thunder thighs and all their glory of being able to lift more than half the guys I know. Being fit is it's own reward in many respects. Exhaustion and muscle failure work outs will work to improve stamina significantly, altho mayhaps not strength as much. What was your old lift capacity, if I might?
As for wedding staffing, for family I've performed Ring-bearer and musician services, but far less. seems that out sourcing, outside of the clan is more common.
