Also, a lot of what he is saying right now seems to be a way to rationalize his racist and utterly troll-worthy beliefs.

I am making budget spreadsheets, including meal plans so I know what to eat, when, and what I can afford. It's looking a little bleak. I might spend tonight roaming the market and making price lists. Sup @ you, beans and rice.

Edit: Food for two weeks: only $85! Success. I may have cheated and bought four packs of deliciously nutritious Top Ramen (in Oriental flavor! Bonus points for old school racism!)

yay! I have my altars up!

Yay! I'm happy for you! I'm moving some things around and re-doing some altars since I've had some changes in my spiritual life, so I understand how stressful it is to not have them around.

There's so much going on for me right now keeping me busy, but I hope to be more active soon. Maybe I'll finally get out my Aquinas and get working on a thread about the compatibility of faith and reason, though maybe its relevance here has passed a little.

Hey guys, I need your support: I just applied for a new position at work -- in Systems, granting and removing access. It is a long shot because I don't already work in systems.

But I'm very well suited for it, and well, I could use an additional 6-10k a year, couldn't you? We're dead a** broke again. (ahh, summer)

Same here. I eventually have to get a shrine up for him. Just a few small pieces I think, probably on the desk where the bills also go, but it needs to happen.
