Sunshadow purred, "okay okay." He dropped into a hunter's crouch. "With mice, shrews and voles, they will feel you coming before they smell, hear or see you. You must put each paw down quietly...with rabbit's and birds that's another matter." He let out a mrrow of quiet laughter.

Riverpaw copied her mentor's crouch and Sunshadow watched as she began stalking towards the mouse. (He can tell it's a mouse >=D bwa ha ha)

Riverpaw crept forward, her tail swishing in excitement. "Try to keep your tail still, you don't want your prey seeing or hearing you." Sunshadow reminded her. She strained her muscles to keep her tail still and rigid, stepping down slowly and quietly. The mouse's head popped up, searching for the cats. Riverpaw stopped, holding her breath. The mouse began to scurry away. Riverpaw leapt up and charged after it barreling into the brush where it had gone. She cornered it near a stump and bit it's neck. She padded over to the laughing Sunshadow. "I know its not the right way to catch prey," Riverpaw admitted, her meow muffled by mouse. "But I did catch it!" She set it down and stared at it. "Umm, what now?" She questioned. Before Sunshadow could respond, the mouse limped off at an alarming speed. Riverpaw dashed after it, but it had dissapeared. "You didn't bite it hard enough." Sunshadow said, confirming her thoughts. "I thought so." responded Riverpaw, padding back over to her mentor.

Nightpaw walked with Moonlight, Blackmoon and Thunderpaw towards MoonClan territory. she scented a diffrent scen. "is that smell MoonClan?" Nightpaw asked Moonlight.

Sunshadow purred. "Try snapping the neck next time. It's like an auto-matic death. Now, tell me what you smell. There's more prey out here, one is really close by, and I want you to tell me what it is and catch it."

Pebbleheart walked out of the camp to find some cobwebs. They used a lot after the battle with ThornClan.

Moonlight, Nightpaw, Blackmoon, and Thunderpaw walked back to camp. The two apprentice's had now learned the smell of Woodclan, Pebbleclan, and Moonclan. "Go and rest, you two, we'll go hunting tomorrow." Blackmoon mewed. Moonlight listened as the two apprentice's ran to their new den.

"Have you seen Sunshadow, Blackmoon?" Moonlight asked, she had gone around the whole camp, but his scent was stale.

"Um...yeah, I think he took Riverpaw out for some hunting." Blackmoon's voice sounded a bit annoyed, but Moonlight ignored it.

"Thanks," She walked towards the enterence and then out into the open moore.

Blackmoon sighed as he watched Moonlight leave the camp. He hated how she wanted to be with Sunshadow more than him, but yet he wasn't that mad. "Hello, Blackmoon." A sweet voice came beside him. The voice was Silverstone, "Oh, Hi. Would you like to join me for a vole?" He asked as he looked down on his non-eaten vole.

"Sure," Silverstone sat beside Blackmoon and took a bite of the vole. "How was your first day of mentorship?"

"Eh, Thunderpaw is very quiet." He murrmered and took a bite. "I would have hopped he would ask a lot more questions." He sighed and let Silverstone finish the vole.

"Come on, you need to get your mind off things, plus I want to talk to you somewhere quiet." Silverstone and Blackmoon walked out of the camp.

Thunderpaw watched Rockstar's den, he longed to be the leader of Fireclan. The old leader was on his last life, maybe soon he would become leader, but the deputy. Thunderpaw sighed.

(there should be a twist to the story so that I become deputy or something like that....but i'm still an apprentice in this RP...hmmm...)
