Chat Thread: Chopsticks and teacups

My teacher writes his own notes on the course material and posts them online in between classes.

I did a double take when I saw Angels instead of Angles. And I had to pause for a moment and realize that it wasn't my dyslexia, but an actual typo.

That said, I now want to take a course on the Angels of Geometry.

So, instead of assigning angels to elements or directions, would you assign them to geometric concepts? Like Michael, guardian of the polar coordinate system?

I'm going to my first actually concert in March on the.. 28th, I believe.

Sadly, I have no idea who Megadeth, Testiment, and Exodus are. But I'm travelling 4 to 5 hours to Memphis with my boyfriend's friends to go see them.

I just hope, as my first mosh pit experiance as well, I don't die.

I went to an Iron Maiden concert. It was a blast. They're my favorite Metal band. No moshpit, though.

A decent show? Like they're going to dance for us or something? biggrin And thrash is just like metal only faster, right? Aren't they all thrash metal?

I'm not really a Metal-Head as you can tell, but my boyfriend is and he's extremely excited about me going to this. He's wanting to buy me steel-toed boots and Metal-Head attire just for the occasion. redface

Even if I don't like the music, I know I'm going to have fun at this!

And besides being trampled, I'm mostly concerned about my BS during the show. I was planning on taking maybe a bag of skittles to eat during everything. Yet we're not sure how that'll work out with the enviroment around me.

Is it bad that I don't know? xd I went straight to youtube after reading this.

Dave has beautiful hair, but I can only find a few songs I really like. I think they'll be much better live, though.

Plus, apparently "Little Dave" is back so Lomenzo (sp?) was let go which means I'll be seeing a more complete Megadeth? *Shrugs*

I know who Iron Maiden is! Or at least I've heard a few songs by them. If I remembered correctly, I think I liked them.

As I've said before, I'm not much of a Metal-Head. Though, I'm slowly letting it grow on me because of my boyfriend who only listens to Metal. So far I really LOVE Mastodon, Opeth, Volbeat, some Machinehead and a few selected others. It's still way different then what he listens to, but he's proud of me for making an effort. Especially considering it's a far cry from the music I prefer. 3nodding

As for the moshpit part, I'm almost counting on it to appear during the show. I'm excited to finally get a chance to be apart of one! "The Wall of Death" being the most epic I've ever seen! whee

When I find my camera, or am home during daylight hours to use the webcam. And I plan on using a combination of modern and ancient.
