I've wanted to learn Russian since I was in elementary school. I can read it just fine, pronounce it roughly correctly (not as good as my Slovak!), and the only coherent sentence I know is from Rammstein's song Moskau. I'm so accomplished!

One better than I. I count myself lucky that I speak english as well as I do.

yes, for both of your questions. if you think about it, if a thread isn't encouraging extended discussion (as a survey doesn't), it is spam.

I'll work on tailoring the info dump to a more DA position.
I'll throw in a couple of Gardner's teachings if I can get my hands on teh one Gardnerian in Ireland, which I intend to do what with having been invited down to his castle for a weekend.

Heh, I think reading the Cyrillic is easier than reading the Latin, because the Latin translits are... inaccurate at best.
