It's sort of funny... When I first started out with thinking about what I was going to write about for my essay, I knew I wanted to cover some of the marriages that were often intrepreted as not being love-match marriages... and claim that love did exist. Originally I planned on covering three marriages - Collins and Charlotte, Lydia and Wickham, and Mr. & Mrs. Bennet.
Then as I started collecting information, I decided to drop Mr. and Mrs. Bennet since there wasn't enough evidence for their marriage to support the claim that there marriage was a love-matched one.
Then as I started writing the rough draft essay for just Collins and Charlotte and ended up with about 4 pages of text, I realized I wouldn't be able to cover Lydia and Wickham.
Yesterday during the workshop I decided to drop Lydia and Wickham and simply focus on Collins and Charlotte. Especially when I started looking over the quotes I had picked out for L&W and realized how hard it was going to convince that love existed in their marriage.
