Looooove gaming! Play a good lot of NWOD White Wolf stuff, run Changeling:The Lost and play a few tabletops. Also LARP and play some board games and wordy board games like Articulate and Apples to Apples. Anyone tried Battlestar Galactica?

BSG is one of my favorite TV shows ever! Is there a game based off of it?

There's a board game, it's great!

Egalitarianism, right? I almost always misspell that word. >.<
Bingo.

In an ideal world, each of the subzones (feminism, antiracism, anticissexism, transfeminism, GLBT activism, PWD activism and etc) would simply be specializations of Egalitarianism.

In the real world, each of these groups merely ******** over one of the others. Feminism being one of the worst offenders for ******** over virtually all of the other ones. Divide and conquer has never worked so well.

What would you call one who does all the latter? Or would egalitarianism be an ideal descriptor for this?

The second sentence answers your question. XD

I had a brilliant dream!

Some female mechanic, a Dalek not hellbent on extermination or superiority, and some hotshot male were in the TARDIS. The dream started out from the perspective of the female.

Initially, there was a lot of bicker back and forth between the male and the female. In this bickering, they came up with a bet over who could eat the most o the female's gadgets. That they were made of metal apparently only made them hard to swallow, not bad for you. So, the female gave the best gadgets to the male and herself and gave the junk to the Dalek (which looked rather like the robot from Futurama, except it opened it's mouth, not it's belly). The competition was held and, lo and behold, the Dalek won and incorporated the junk into its system (as this is apparently a natural function of Daleks).

POV switches to the Dalek, which now looks like a proper Dalek.

They land the TARDIS on a planet filled with junk, and the Dalek roams around, consuming such. The Female seeks the Dalek out and apologizes, shame-faced, for giving it the junk as opposed to the good stuff, but the Dalek waves off the offense. The Female goes off to speak with the Male.

Suddenly, the Dalek notices Rad Daleks. Quickly, it speeds off to warn the others. "Danger. Alert! Danger." They decide to try and sneak past the Daleks to their TARDIS. The Male advises that they stay behind them, as their method of viewing the world is rather limited. However, to their detriment, a Girl Dalek (who knew they had gender?) spots them and warns their master, the Master.

POV switches to the Male.

They make a run for it, but the Daleks have become a mass, all bunched together with their Eye rods pointing in every which way, at every which height. The Female and the Male decide to stick close - real close - to this mass because the Daleks cannot see the area that is right up next to themselves and low to the ground due to the eye rods.

Their Dalek companion gets captured and gets put in a large storage bin. The Male and the Female are spotted by a stray Dalek and are locked up on the opposite side of the Mass of Daleks from their friend in a storage bin that also has their cloaked TARDIS in it.. The Mass of Daleks are standing guard.

POV switch.

The Girl Dalek is the only one who knows about the TARDIS (having bumped into it). E is imaging all the wonderful adventures that could be had. The Girl Dalek volunteers to guard the human prisoners. The Master of the Daleks (who is not The Master) agrees, and the Mass of Daleks disperse and begin wheeling about and devouring junk. The prisoners, thinking they are alone, hop in the TARDIS and prepare for dematerialization.

All the Daleks are suddenly silver Humans.

The Female Dalek (who was the Girl Dalek) opens the door when e hears the whir of dematerialization. The F.D. warns the other Daleks of what is happening and, in their confusion, slips over to the storage bin containing the Prisoner Dalek. As suspected, the TARDIS is now rematerializing. The Female Dalek slips aboard while the Male and Female are rescuing their companion. They all get away safely.

My sociology of religion professor seems to enjoy Marija Gimbutas way more than I'm comfortable with. I like that he's teaching that all of these are just theories, but he has a huge bias towards her theories. *grumbles*

Does anyone have good links for info on Minoan and Mycenaean stuff? They were a big part of our last class, but I'd like to get outside sources, since the text book we're using was written by our professor. Does theoi.com have any info on them?

I've never had Dalek dreams, but my dreams involving the Doctor always involve me trying not to get noticed so I don't get caught in his web of destruction.

And all my Torchwood dreams involve massive incompetence.

DDR! heart

I wish they'd release Para Para Paradise for the Wii.

It's the only console it would make sense to put it on.

Oh, and I just found out that I'm related to Robert De Bruce. I've always wanted to know about my family history.

Forgot to mention I'm a huge Animal Crossing fan for the DS, and also like to play Sudoku on there with my Brain Age 2. ninja

I used to have that game! Animal Crossing, that is.

I loved it! Until there was nothing left to get.. emo And that ******** Mole that wouldn't let me restart peacefully. gonk

But I always had the cutest outfits. 3nodding

I just try to keep the neighbors I like. I still have stuff I need to finish my catalog. If I finish that, I might try to get all the special models and grow rare colored roses. surprised

Rare colored roses? :0 I think I had purples and blues at one point.

Have you ever had the Dog at the Bar sing to you? Also, what did you name your town?

You can also get gold roses, and when you have a perfect town there's this white flower that grows...I forget the name.

And yeah the dog...uh I forgot his name. sweatdrop He's really cute though. Did you manage to get all the paintings? Half the time I buy from Redd they're fake.

My town is called Tinsel Town. xd What about yours?

Was it called "Jacob's Latter"?

I don't think I did. Much like you, a lot of them were fakes. stare But I got most of them. Got all the fossils, though!

Awe, what a cute name! 4laugh Mine was "Purpink", like Purple+Pink=Purpink.
