For the life of me I can never remember BOTA as anything other than Brotherhood of Tarot Assholes.

I think they teach the Qabbalah & tarot class down the street from school. I've been meaning to get around to it. Apparently we learn about tarot while coloring in the outlines of each card.
Heh... Have fun!

As for The Ethical Slut, I can remember finding a lot of food for thought, but not a whole lot of guidance for my life personally.

If nothing else, being part of a subculture- it's a good idea to read core texts about the culture. Kinda like how most folks living in a country that is 80% Christians should likely have passing familiarity with the Bible and the like.

It's a nice way to be.
Depends on the person, I suppose. I fully admit to being unable to deal with it as a personal concept; I'm a naturally jealous person despite my religious leaning and don't like the idea of sharing/being shared. Top that off with the fact I'm effectively only turned on mentally and physically by my husband, and there's a recipe for someone who couldn't hack it in a polyamorous relationship.

If you can do it, more power to ya. But it ain't gonna work for me. xd

Different strokes for different folks. XD I know that I can't function at all in monogamy

I think I might be okay with a wee bit of poly, but the husband? Not at all, he even told me he can't fathom even getting a crush on someone else, and thankfully, I find his jealousy cute. I don't get how he couldn't be attracted to others, but hey, people are people.

Also, his reaction to my office crush being the one taking me to work earlier this week was downright ....erm, NC-17?

So, I don't get dressed up very much, or wear makeup or perfume, but when I do, it's really nice.

I just bought a brand new perfume and it smells delicious on me. It's called Golden Goddess of all things.

Who's it by?

I recently smelled this wonderful eau de toilette by Hermes called "Un Jardin Sur le Nil." I like it! xd

It really seems like everyone operates a bit differently

Thanks. heart My feet HURT, but if I get a paycheck this month, which I think I might, it should cover most of my rent, which takes a lot of weight off my mind.

That should go away in a couple weeks. As cheesy as it sounds, Dr. Scholes makes non-skid workshoes that are great.

If you have a Big 5 outfitters where you are, you can get them for like $25.

If you want to invest a little more- look up "Shoes for Crews", twice as much, but excellent shoes.
