Mmm, fire and chemicals. Good mostly, but a less viable option in my dorm room, alas. I have issues with soaking the carpet in Raid, as fun as that might be. *lol* I'm just amazed the difference some proper rain makes.

Eat lots of garlic.
I'm lucky, in that most creatures evidently find my blood to be incredibly bad tasting, as I only get bit once or twice a year...
But my house boy... he gets devoured by insects every time they are out... we fed him a diet heavey in garlic, and they left him alone. 3nodding

New Mexico. ^_^ So-called Land of Enchantment. We've had something like a decade of drought, and this summer we've gotten more rain than I've seen in a very long time. *lol* Seeing everything so green is kind of a shock.
