In other news, is it advisable to start a Pathways thread even if I can't cite all of my sources yet? A lot of what I know is from compounded readings over the past couple of years. In the end I hope to make scholarly articles for others' use with proper citations, but for now it might also be useful to just write out all I know and start looking for inconsistencies. Otherwise it will probably be at least another year before I can make a thread.
Yep. Ballpark the sources and note what doesn't have a citation yet- if I were you. But then, the quality of a Pathways thread seems to fall on a scale. I think you'll be just fine.

I intended on making a disclaimer that what I know is by no means conclusive, but I should be able to provide a source should someone ask for one, and will clearly note historical v. UPG and personal practice. I'm thinking this will be a good thing for me. The calendar research is really tough and I need to do something productive to feel like I'm not just wasting my break here. Barebones thread should be forthcoming in a few days. 3nodding

OMFG did I make some awesome turnovers or what!?

?
I had a roasted garlic, carrot and tomato turnover in a wheat crust.
Hmm for some reason I want to replace the tomato with sweet potato. Though that does sound good.
Me too, I dislike the texture of cooked tomatoes.

See, I only like them cooked, unless they're in sandwiches. I just want sweet potato. sweatdrop

I loooove raw tomatoes, eat them all the time when they're in season. heart Cooked, I only like them as sauce. Even with chili, which I often use crushed tomatoes for, I'll run 'em through a food processor and still pick out any big chunks. I am picky. sweatdrop

I only like them cooked too. And mmm, sweet potatos. You'd swear I didn't spend the whole day eating pizza.

Also, I think I need to start stealthily pruning the book collection. We have a hard time letting them go.

Nice avi Nuri.

In other news- I have slimmed down to the point where I can wear my husband's pants.

Goals for reuniting with my Gards in Seattle:

1. Pronouncing Wicca "Weetcha"
2. Referring to Gerald Gardner as "G-Squared" or "G. Gards"
3. Changing my Outer Court craft name to WolfMoon RavenBeam.

What a lovely weekend. Exam went well yesterday, had a girly night in Dublin last night and then helped kick the hangover's a** by helping to make a snow Pac Man.

Incidentally. Golden syrup mixed with Jameson whiskey and melted together is a very nice icecream topping, and tastes good with sausages too. Strangely enough, so did the chocolate sauce.

Changing my religious views from "Pagan" to "Gardling" on Facebook has already been completed. I was dubbed "Gardling" by a Gard woman from another coven who pinched my cheeks when she saw me.

Sometimes ageism has benefits, like special treatment and extra hugs.

Why couldn't you bring your sword?

The U.K. hates the idea of armed peasants.
"Good reason" as determined by the law-enforcement, must be had for carrying any blade that is longer than 3" or not a folder.
As a weapons owner and a staunch proponent of self-defense, I find Britain's general laws regarding it unlivable. Other people may enjoy them, but I'll always trust my own ability to defend myself, rather than running to the police.
The fact that most counters I have heard to this are that while there are no statutes to protect self-defense, the courts usually support it.
Too dicey for me.
In many ways, I am the stereotypical arsenal living American who has more faith in armed etiquette than the rule of law.
