I got a question for you artist types out there.. how long do you expect it takes to finish the Gaia mangas? just the plain black and white ones.

They told us they were going to do it in black and white as it was quicker than color. But even with that we can't ever see a Manga come out on time. Like the Manga for the Halloween event wrap up.

Not a real artist type here, but I can't imagine it taking that long, especially since I'm pretty sure they have Reapersun/Saka doing lineart and someone else doing backgrounds and effects. There are webcomics out there that get more pages out in a month than Gaia gets out in half a year.

I always wonder about that. Well if the artist has a lot on their plate it could take longer. I don't know what comes first the final draft or the art. Maybe the writers changed their mind and the artist has to go back and re- do a lot of what they already did. I wish gaia did more behind the scenes and interviews with artists of gaia or any staff.

Yaoi/fetish Fangirls irritate me sometimes. And I'm still catching up on the after holiday sleep.

There are webcomics out there that get more pages out in a month than Gaia gets out in half a year. I was wondering something along those lines. I read some korean webcomics that get updated weekly, but they're not really complicated art. I also read a little one called Cucumber Quest that gets a new page every day, but I dunno if that's cuz she finished them all in advance and releases them that way.

So apparently, skyward sword needs a $20 attachment in order to play.

Ah that's what I thought. so when you say a week for a manga, are you talking like that's all they work on for a week, or just in between other projects? and are you thinking like the little 3-page minor event mangas, or the big 15-20 pages they do sometimes?
