Head hurts dissemilating that.
I get your opinion all the time and it doesn't bother me. You're harsh, abrasive and honest.
Which should tell you that if you as one individual take up that small percent of people getting what they "don't mind", you have to feel for those who ask and get answered the rest of the time.

extremely confused...
and.....
burning_eyes Yep, there it goes. My brain stopped.

EDIT: I guess thats what I get for trying to mix Calculus homework and Gaia. sweatdrop
For what it is worth, being aware of it doesn't make it any easier.

You know, I think it could, cause Im racking my brain trying to figure out what 'it' is.
Rarely does suspense make for a more pleasent experience than the actual trauma experience in question. This would be one of those times.

I totally ignored the "new" spelling reform for Deutsch. I'm glad my prof did too wink

From what my remaing friends in Deutschland told me, so did most of the Educators in Deutschlan...
They said No to New German, just like the (for once) right thinking cola drinkers said No to New Coke.
Both were cheap, flavourless knock-offs of the originals, and should be rejected by people with any sense of/or taste. 3nodding

Did you know that Coca Cola tailor the taste of their cola to individual countries?
My current favourite is Arabic coke.

Arabic Coke?

I had no idea... eek

I thought formulas might change due to local laws... but specific flavours...
What does Arabic coke have that Irish coke doesn't?

he's got a point. it extends to other sodas as well. German Fanta is soooo much better than US Fanta...blech. tastes worse than the generic orange soda they try to sell.

don't they have a factory where one can taste the different countries' brands?

So...
There may be an actual nation where Diet Pepsi tastes like Pepsi? ninja

I think the chemistry makes that highly improbable- if not impossible.

Arabic coke tastes much sweeter, less cloying and less artificial than Irish coke. It is all round more pleasant.

What's used to sweeten things seems to make one of the biggest differences. I know people here who take the daytrip down to Mexico to buy cases of Coca-cola because there it's sweetened with cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup, and that apparently makes all the difference in the taste. And those are both considered fairly close as sugars. Add in anything more artificial, and you depart even further from the taste.
