I really love this Diedrich Fur Coat. heart
I'm surprised that there's not an alternative to the Diedrich items in the Treehouse as well, for the opposing team. I'm pretty happy about all the event items though.

I'm pretty happy about all the event items though. Well, that's because the alternate to the diedrich items would be EB's mecha suit. And you know...the general Gaia Scifi Embargo is still in effect. Plus there's just a huge bias towards Diedrich anyways.

The Undead Suitor Well, that's because the alternate to the diedrich items would be EB's mecha suit. And you know...the general Gaia Scifi Embargo is still in effect. Plus there's just a huge bias towards Diedrich anyways. They could have at least given us EB's belt, it's got a giant pink paw print on it, the artists shouldn't have trouble with that. gonk

Gaia hates EB already, and are looking for an excuse to get rid of him. They failed last year when EB actually won, so of course, Diedrich get's another chance to win this year, as per the rules of "do-overs" of course, when Diedrich wins this year he'll become the permanent mascot of Easter as well because obviously he hasn't been in enough events.

Oh god. It all makes sense now, even getting the users upset that EB would promote killing baby animals, so that when he eventually departs we'll supposedly be less upset to see him go. eek

I'm pretty sure in order to get more scifi and mecha stuff, we're going to need to get a LOT of it and ONCE this little, boog one-item-a-rig s**t aint gonna cut it like......people like items they can match with other items so when a mecha/scifi item comes out, it doesn't match anything because of the lack of mecha/scifi items so people dont wear it gaia takes that as people dont want mecha/scifi so they dont make anymore thus we never get more to match so people dont wear them so they dont make more so we dont have much to match so people dont wear them so they dont make more so we dont have much to match so people dont wear them so they dont make more so we dont have much to match See the cycle here? But it didn't, because they gave cream a chance, released a bunch of cream items in a row, and now it's the most popular color on the site. The same thing could happen to a lot of themes and colors. If Gaia gave them a chance. It's just..Gaia never puts any effort or support into anything thats not a sure thing.

But it didn't, because they gave cream a chance, released a bunch of cream items in a row, and now it's the most popular color on the site. The same thing could happen to a lot of themes and colors. But I'm inclined to agree that there's a lot of potential if given half a chance.
