Duskwind heard a sound coming from the nursery she turned to see Sharpkit. "Hi Sharpkit!"

"Can I come I'll be an apprentice soon?"Sharpkit asked already knowing the answer.

"Soon Sharpkit soon I heard Shadowstar talking and it seems legitimate." Duskwind mewed.

"What does le..get..ament mean?"Sharpkit asked struggling to say it.

"Legitimate means it's looking good." Duskwind purred.

"Ok,"Sharpkit said cheerfully then troted over to the nursery to lay in a patch of sun.

While Sprintsong waited for Frostfangs answer, she too thought about her..... past.... Unable to bear it any longer Sprintsong ran out of the camp, holding back her tears of pain.

"Oh wait...too late..." Duskwind thought of Creamtail, Frostfang, and now Sprintsong. Why is everyone so sad...

Firesong began to organize her herbs. She prayed to Starclan that she wouldn't need to use them anytime soon.

"I hope Frostfang comes I asked her but she seems....distant nowadays."
