Gee, that's so sad Mandy. So he would have been 18 eh? That reminds me of a neighbor of mine who died in a car crash about a month or two ago. He was even younger...

Gee, that's pretty neat Jen. Keep those updates comin'! mrgreen

As for me, I've been a bit busy and to make things worse, my german shepherd dog almost dies on us on friday. We had to drive her to the vet and she even had emergency surgery. Too bad there is no such thing as a blood transfusion for dogs here in Guatemala. God! We really are a poor country aren't we?

Thanx Mandy! She is better now and she even looks better, well, aside from all the dried up blood all over her back fur. But she seems to be doing fine and everytime I see her at night she looks like she's gonna be back to normal pretty soon. Too bad we can't give her a bath til the doc cuts out the stitches in about a week from now. mrgreen

I should check this thread more often. I didn't think it was that busy, but I've been missing a lot of news.

I'm glad your dog is getting better Hypno. I don't have any pets now because of Jen's allergies, but my dad has a cat. We really get attached to our pets. I want to get an aquarium and a pet gecko. I keep saying it would be good for eating all the spiders here.

So what is up with those riots in France? Are they having another French Revolution or something?

I think it has something to do with two boys being killed in some factory awhile ago. People are just afraid it will happen again. (It's evil though, I love paris.)

I have an update on myself:
Ok, college is going good, or so I think. I still haven't got work exp and I need it fast! Umm, I am thinking about doing Uni at some point soon, maybe 2007 if I get accepted anywhere...which I hope I do. Either Southbank Uni, or UEA in Nnorwich (which is where Melly lives.)
So yeah, I might have three more years of education help! I want to do nursing aswell.....whoo!

EDIT: Did anyone hear about the chinese girl who died from playing Warcraf for three days solid? She died due to lack of sleep and the players actually did a cyber funeral for her, it was so sad, she was called Snowly. Another chinese boy died a few days after her for the same reason aswell.

But Online RPG makers are going to put a ban on that now, they will have a server that will allow you to play a Online RPG for three hours then it will lock you out for about 7 hours then you can go back in. To be honest I think it will work. Games are like drugs now, once hooked you can't stop.

Thanx SK! Because of her stitches, she can't or rather, she is not supposed to stand on two legs to greet me like she used to. She tried to do just that today and I had to deter her from trying it. She looks even better now.

What? Riots in France? Gee, I should really pick up a newspaper. mrgreen

Hmm... Kids have died from playing warcraft? WEIRD! I think that could work too Mandy cuz I am a major addict to videogames but even I know when to stop.

I had not heard of the kids dying from playing warcraft. It's sad but totally insane, I mean that means they were so out of it that they didn't even respond to their bodies own signals like need for sleep. I read once about a woman who divorced her husband because all he would do is play Everquest. I can't even imagine getting that addicted to a game.

I know it's mad really. But I feel sorry for that girl. At the moment, I am getting engrossed in Kingdom Hearts...the second one is going to be so nice.

The most engrossing game for me is Civilization III. Once I start playing I don't register the passage of time. sweatdrop Sim City 3 can do the same thing to me to a lesser extent. That being said, I eat when I need to eat, etc.

Jen and I will be getting an ultrasound of the baby this tuesday! We are going to find out if the baby is a gent or a lady. We are going to keep that information secret until Thanksgiving and then surprise my mom's family in California when we visit. (P.S. for those not in the U.S. Thanksgiving is an American holiday where we stuff our faces with as much food as possible - particularly turkey).

Yeah I know what you mean SK, I can't imagine being THAT addicted to a game either. And BTW, I don't like Sim City or anything like that so I think I may be safe, he-he. I do like civilization but I have only played the first one. Too bad eh?

Hmm, thanxgiving. Some people celebrate it here but not everyone. It's not a national holiday either. Even I have celebrated that with some friends and or family here once or twice. 3nodding

It's coming you say? Ouch! Gee Mandy, I hope things turn out good for ya.

As for my dog, she's doing well but she seems to be a lil off than when she was before the surgery. She has no trouble standing on two legs now but once in a while we see her limp. I wonder if I should be worried...
