[ninja of Persia]

Sabata first checked Skyla was okay, then faced Kaze, with his eyes closed he slowly spoke "and the guardian spoke, and gave his power, the moon and lunacy, to his follower, thus was the Child of Luna born. Guardian, as a descendent of that line, I invoke the contract forged between you and the first Child, grant me that which is demanded so I may continue my wanderings..." His whole body glowed suddenly, this was different than anything he'd used before, the energy flowing off of him was not his, it was older, stronger.  

[ISUMY]

Skyla blinked once and slowly her vision returned. The first thing she saw was the moon. It was not blood red or full but a beautiful soft crescent. She sighed in relief feeling as what she saw was just a dream. She looked around her and saw that Sophie was nowhere to be seen and Kaze was walking away. That's when she spotted Sabata. He was glowing and seemed to be muttering to himself. "Sabata?"she called out to him.

A tendril of energy snaked away from his body and moved towards Skyla. It stopped just short of her... it seemed to be watching her almost. Sabata finished speaking and stared at Kaze. "What were you saying just now?"  

[Kaze The Despised]

"Listen, Sabata. I have no time for another fight. But I must say you are persistent about beating me. You might just be as good as Ren and me. But don't let that get to your head, okay?" Kaze turned around toward Sabata and smirked. He seemed much more calm now, as if he had nearly been satisfied, a sactisfication he hadn't had in years. "I might even count you as a secondary rival. But for now I got other things to do." Kaze turned around again and walked away humming to himself, a tune that'd been with him ever since he was an infant.

Sabata flared in ager, the energy seemed about to shoot straight at Kaze... but a the last second it stopped. It slowly began to fade, in less than a minute, it was gone. He turned back to Skyla. "I don't usually do that... sorry if I scared you." He mentally slapped himself, MORON!!! you know better than to go crazy like that... don't do it again!!!!!  

[Kaze The Despised]

Kaze had left the scene of Skyla and Sabata. "Guy lets his emotions get to him too much. If he were to control his anger and in a way harness it, he could possibly be a better match for me." Kze kept walking until he heard his stomach rumble. "Guess after all that fighting and talking I got kind of hungry. I'll probably go stop for some sweet rolls or something." So he went off to the nearest bakery, made sure his fangs weren't noticeable and got sweet rolls. He soon left and started to eat at it. "Good as always."  

[ISUMY]

Skyla backed away from Sabata when she saw the energy around him fly out towards Kaze. She was afraid of him, a feeling she thought she would never fell towards him but there it was. When he turned to face her she stared at her feet not wanting him to look at her. She knew that the fear was still in her eyes and she didn't want him to see it.  

[Guardan Of Death Tachi]

After sitting on the roof top for a very long while for her, she stood up with Midnight in her arms and jumped off the roof. Landing perfectly on her feet she looked up at the moon. It was a red short of color, almost a rusted red. As she wandered around the city she finally stopped at the place where Sabata and Skyla were. "Well looks like you two are busy, so I'll just leave you two alone." Sophie turned around and started to walk away.

"Sophie wait." He hadn't seen Skyla's face, but he knew what was there. The same thing he saw whenever someone saw his power as a Lunar Child, fear, loathing, disgust... he couldn't deal with it, not from Skyla. "Could you look after Skyla... I need to go for a while." He turned to leave, "Sorry Skyla..." He began to walk away.  

[ISUMY]

"SABATA!"Skyla ran after Sabata. "Don't leave," she wrapped her arms tightly around him tears pouring down her eyes. "Please don't leave me," she whispered. "I'm sorry...I thought...I..." She began to stumbled over her words trying to force a deep meaning into them but failed pitifully. Skyla cried harder and wrapped her arms still tighter around him.

Sophie stopped and turned around. Seeing Skyla wrapping her arms around him and crying she thought, Yep, should have never come here..to much drama. "Sure I'll stay with her." She walked over to a bench near them and set Midnight next to her.

Sabata said nothing as Skyla wrapped her arms around him. He stopped moving and stood there as she sobbed into his back. He turned around suddenly and hugged her. "I'm sorry too, I shouldn't have done that, I never meant to frighten you."

Nicolae appeared silently, just a rustle of cloth, in the shadows bordering the street. "Come here," he commanded Antha, still locked tightly to his chest like she didn't weigh as much as a feather. He ran his teeth quickly along his tongue and lips so that the blood welled up in his mouth and he could transfer it to Antha. He was very careful not to spill a drop in the process and when he was done he waited quietly until it had spread through her and she was well enough to walk unaided again. "Antha, be quick," he instructed as he set her very gently down on the pavement, "Do it and hurry back. I've got this uneasy feeling, ya' know?" He shook his head so that his golden curls rustled.

 

[XCandy and LunacyX]

I took a moment for her to feel the warm rush of unnatural blood in her system, a minute to feel able to go on all alone. But the moment it hit she was as restless as ever, fighting against her brother's arms until she stood firmly on her own feet. "You worry too much," she chided him gently, pausing to wipe the shine of crimson blood from her bottom lip with her thumb. She didn't hesitate to lick it off. "Really, Nicolae, you shouldn't fret so very much."
It was then, recognizing Sabata as she turned around and observing the strong scent of the thief, that a sense of urgency overcame her, a total rush of anger. "Sabata," she pronounced delicately as she appeared next to him, crimson hair streaming after her. "Ah, Sabata, you missed all the fun." She paused, grinning wickedly, and then continued with a renewed expression of utter solemnity, anger flashing in her brilliant emerald eyes. She didn't mean to interrupt, but she was in a rush. "I'm looking for someone, a vampire, and I wondered if you might have seen him around here? He's about this high---" she motioned with her hand a little ways above her own head, "---has black hair, and looks about in his mid-twenties." She was quiet for a moment, a long, pale finger to her lips as she considered leaking any more information. "I do believe his name is 'Rentetsu'...or so I gathered."

Sabata released Skyla as he heard the familiar voice behind him. Turning around, he faced Antha. "Hello Ms. Mayfair. Rentetsu you say?" He was silent for a minute as he thought about it. The b*****d who nearly killed us at the mountain house... what's he done to get Antha all riled up though? I bet Kaze might know something too... "I haven't seen him for a while. he was at the house on the mountain a while back, I don't know where he is now. What has he done, to get you to personally chase him down?"
