Thanks to this post on FWD/Forward, I started thinking about how I (don't) sleep, and just out of curiosity, wiki'd sleep deprivation.
...yikes.
The Almighty Wiki A chronic sleep-restricted state can cause fatigue, daytime sleepiness, clumsiness and weight gain.
And under the big list of physiological effects, it lists dizziness, headaches, and symptoms similar to ADHD. Which means this is something I need to bring up with my primary care doctor, my therapist, AND my psychiatrist, and get them all working together, because I have the terrible feeling that a lot of what's wrong with me is because I've been living in a sleep-restricted state almost constantly since childhood.

...on the other hand, my ADHD has caused many of those same symptoms. And I just read that too and went "OMFG."

That website constantly redefines how I handle the world. It's a good thing but sometimes it's scary as hell.
