CuAnnan Ainwyn I was really sick today, but got restless and ended up getting a ton of books on Irish history and music from the library. I have them til mid December to read whenever I'm not doing stuff for school, and if I can figure out a decent thesis and outline, I think I might end up doing an independent study on Irish music instead of a recital for my senior project. That would probably help me get into grad school for ethnomusicology at the Uni of Cork or Limerick eventually... yes it would. I'll have to convince my partner how awesome it would be to spend two years in Ireland though, which is sadly a difficult prospect with her. *goes off to ponder* Go for cork. Limerick's not only a s**t hole, we call it "stab city". I'll give you one guess why.
Cork is also a lovely city with many fine eating and drinking establishments, and the students are great too. |

Daisy's warm dress, layered under the seracila tunic.
In other news, as long as we stay in BloNo next year after Davit graduates, we know where we are living. We'll be moving in with a friend, into the GIANT HOUSE that his parents own. He has the basement, we have the master's suite, and we'll convert one of the upstairs rooms into an office for all of us.
And we will only pay about 800 a month, including utilities except for cable, which we will split with our friend.
did I mention that the master's suite has a jacuzzi tub? JACUZZI TUB. |

Ugh, Macy's. I worked there once. I hope you get a good manager. You would not believe some of the snooty-snoots that shop there. At least the 20% discount is decent. And totally awesome when you can get some GAP jeans on sale for $20. biggrin |

Central IL -- however, we're living with a friend, the place is owned by his parents (who are a Methodist Pastor and a college professor) hence the really great deal.
They think we are a good influence on their son. MWHA HA HA. |
