My sis, because she luffles me, will be doing an art auction so I can get the kitty items I want and can't afford because it would add up to about 700,000g, just about. She is a traditional illustration major and is very professional about what she makes. Check this thread's sixth post for some examples, though she has already improved since she has made them and she admits she didn't try as hard. She is not limited to chibis and can do OC's.

Auction details are on one of the last posts of the thread. There will be three different categories to enter, starting bidding at 100k each. Please check it out! 4laugh heart

*really hopes Celeblin will bid 'cuz her avi is awesome* eek

They really need to turn up the heat in the apartment. I'm currently huddled underneath a blanket, waiting for a message and I'll be going out.

And whoever says vodka warms you up was obviously lying. rofl

Currently Reading: Her Hidden Children: The Rise of Wicca And Paganism in America by Chas S. Clifton

Everyone told me Triumph was so damn dry but I thought it was well-written with a subtle humor.

This? So far, I'm learning a lot, but I can't stand the writing style.

But that wouldn't work for an obscure Monty Python reference! crying

Interesting (American) college football matchup today: a player named McCoy (on USC) versus the Fighting Irish (Notre Dame).

First major driving experience: Almost 8 miles over part of a highway, part of an expressway, and part of a very busy road.
And I did good, dammit. Stayed around the speed limit and in my lane.

...not a huge accomplishment for someone turning 18 in five hours, but I'm still proud of myself.

I love my brother:

Stephen: The reason I don't like Islam is simple. Whenever you hear the call to prayer in movies it's always beautiful and slightly haunting. But that's not how it is. In the Holy Land, there's 6 Mosques within hearing distance and the call to prayer is tape recorded and blasted through loud speakers. Except they aren't synched up so it just sounds horrible. It permeates through the walls, no matter where you are.

We went to a benefit for the shelter my parents work at and a few others, which featured local restaurants and lots of really good food in a tapas like format.

Stephen: I came, I saw, I ate, I conquered. Vini,Vidi...What's Latin for eat?
Me: Oh crap, I forget.
Stephen: I feel like I should know this.
Me: It's great to know that between your Church Latin and my Classical Latin, we still don't know any Latin.
Stephen: Grandpa would be so proud.

So...apparently my parent gave me a $100 gift card for amazon.com last Christmas and I didn't know about it. Looks like I can now afford some new books! xP
