Flatterers. redface sweatdrop

As far as time period... I doubt that has any sort of real historical accuracy, however, similar shirts have been postulated in several time periods... the jerkin... I think they tried to say it was of a style that would occur during the 1600s, but I wouldn't put any stock in that. sweatdrop

Sorry Nuri, I am not attempting to resemble anyone but if it makes you feel better, the beard is gone now...
I currently have a moustache and the little triangular bit under the lower lip.

As far as my look... methinks I was considering something at the time... I don't recall what tho... I had just gotten out of the shower... after a very long (36hr) train ride... I believe that's when the picture was taken... or was it the next day...I slept very little that weekend, so the particulars of time are a blur...
Tea, do you recall if that was the night I arrived?

I don't think that there are a lot of men who pull the gothic look off. You must look very sickly and cross at the same time. Not very sexy I think...

Give me a guy in kilt any day over a gothic guy. mrgreen (why isn't there a drool smiley? )

As far as GIMPs (Gothicly Inclined Male Persons), it generally helps to be tall and slender.... I am neither. sweatdrop

It was the next day actually. You wore the Poke-Gone shirt the night you arrived. The Jerkin the next day while I was putting the finishing touches on your tail.

~whimpers~ I still need to fix the tail and ears.

Of Course.

Now, there is a funny story to go with that... it dates back to when I was doing Live Steel demonstrations for the Ren Faire...

Now, despite my lack of height, I am fairly brawny... so I could handle heavier blades with greater ease than many of my fellow performers...
Back in the late 90s, the U.S. experienced a small obsession with anything "Celtic"... I blame Mel Gibson, but that's hardly the point...
Now, I am usually am Armingsword and Shield person, but I can do heavey weapons, so they decided that, to capitalise on the local fads, we should do a Claymore piece... so, as one of the stronger performers (and also one of the ones least afraid of being accidentally hurt) I was given task to be one of the swordsman for that piece...
Well, we choreographed it, had it all planned out, had practiced it ad naseum...
With one small issue... I had always worn breeches tucked into high boots for my parts... and my practice...
On the day of the first show, they provided me with additional costuming.
That's right kids, they put me in a man skirt... They wove the Tartan arround me, and well, wouldn't you know it... it fit well, except the sash part... it was too loose...
That would be an issue later in the show, as one of the quick, high Parries caused the very wide Quillions (crossguard) of the Claymore to catch the sash... well, the sash being attached to the skirt, it lifted the whole of the outfit...
Despite being entangled in my clothes, the parry went off without a hitch.
The Audience appreciated my skillful deflection as well... or so I thought...
The rest of the battle continued unevetfully...
After the show was over... someone took the time to explain to me why the tips were more robust than usual... sweatdrop
