True Colours of Destiny
I just looked at the Field Ecology Field Trip and Lab Manual.

Our first trip is to do taxonomic classification of trees in a forest. And looking at one diagram, there's about 60 different ways to classify them, just by the shape of the leaves. gonk gonk gonk

Oh have fun 3nodding

We did that with species of grass in a sample space...in bracken taller than I am, crawling with spiders with eggs and moths and slugs and MOSQUITOS.

OMFG! My Ancient Religion's professor is bat s**t crazy! He's making us write a response essay on Erik Hornung's writing style scream gonk crying I love the material we're covering, and his lectures and the books we're reading, but his assignments just don't make any sense!

Well. If you do end up doing it I would love if you would share it with me. I'm going to be using him as one of my resources for my paper on ancient Egyptian mythology.

Three weeks of (very lax) searching and I finally find want I was looking for: a list of student organizations. FSU doesn't have a GSA apparently. :/ But I'm happy! ^^

Apparently there are organizations dedicated to teaching dance such as one for Tango, one for Belly-dancing, and one for Irish dance. There's another to teach Medieval music. And one to promote drinking egg-nog. xD I'm happy. smile I need to find out if the martial arts clubs require money.

I almost got attacked preached at by some Mormons today. Which was ironic, because I have a thing for Christian Rock, and had it blaring from my head phones when they tried to stop me. rofl

Jealous! I've been trying to get a Medieval/Renaissance ensemble started on our campus through our Renaissance faire for 3 years now, and I'm finally getting interest. Right now, we only have three instrumentalists, so I'm going to see if we can get a recorder consort organized or something. I've also been trying to get a group together to sing Medieval/Renaissance carols, and I always get 5 or so people who say they want to do it, but nothing ever comes of it.

I love it when the LDSers come to visit.

My high biology teacher (I have a bunch of old teachers on Facebook) asked me in a dripping sarcastic tone, "Do you have to classify and and collect them?
I hope to the gods not. gonk

Actually, I didn't stop and talk to them. I had a really odd mood the majority of the day yesterday, somewhere between nostalgia and boredom.

Of course, a friend and I went to the gay club/bar yesterday. Mmmmm....eyecandy... rofl

My city is nothing but gay clubs. I can't stand hanging out at them, but it is all about the eye candy, isn't it? sweatdrop

The only reason I am going eat a reasonable amount of calories today is because they are coming from leftover pizza.

I really hope going up to the higher dose doesn't make the appeitite supression worse. I can't recall if it was this bad before.

I've never had good beer. Supposedly German beer is good, too, and considering the types I tried when in Germany didn't please me, I'm guessing I don't like it.

Wine though? Luff! Errr, as long as it's not red wine. Plum wine is especially delicious.

I wish you luck with that!

The one at my school apparently puts on about three concerts a year and no prior experience is necessary. I just have to figure out how to get in contact with them.

I went to my first club yesterday! It, pretty much, sucked. It was on campus so I'm hoping it's not an accurate representation of all clubs. My friend and I skipped out pretty soon and then we attempted to find gay clubs as, according to my friend, they're better but no luck.
