True Colours of Destiny I just looked at the Field Ecology Field Trip and Lab Manual. Our first trip is to do taxonomic classification of trees in a forest. And looking at one diagram, there's about 60 different ways to classify them, just by the shape of the leaves. gonk gonk gonk Dichotomous keys are heart .
True Colours of Destiny I almost got attacked preached at by some Mormons today. Which was ironic, because I have a thing for Christian Rock, and had it blaring from my head phones when they tried to stop me. rofl Did you stop to chat with them? twisted
I love it when the LDSers come to visit.

My high biology teacher (I have a bunch of old teachers on Facebook) asked me in a dripping sarcastic tone, "Do you have to classify and and collect them? I hope to the gods not. gonk
Actually, I didn't stop and talk to them. I had a really odd mood the majority of the day yesterday, somewhere between nostalgia and boredom.
Of course, a friend and I went to the gay club/bar yesterday. Mmmmm....eyecandy... rofl

Ainwyn Aino Ailill Three weeks of (very lax) searching and I finally find want I was looking for: a list of student organizations. FSU doesn't have a GSA apparently. :/ But I'm happy! ^^ Apparently there are organizations dedicated to teaching dance such as one for Tango, one for Belly-dancing, and one for Irish dance. There's another to teach Medieval music. And one to promote drinking egg-nog. xD I'm happy. smile I need to find out if the martial arts clubs require money. Jealous! I've been trying to get a Medieval/Renaissance ensemble started on our campus through our Renaissance faire for 3 years now, and I'm finally getting interest. Right now, we only have three instrumentalists, so I'm going to see if we can get a recorder consort organized or something. I've also been trying to get a group together to sing Medieval/Renaissance carols, and I always get 5 or so people who say they want to do it, but nothing ever comes of it.
I wish you luck with that!
The one at my school apparently puts on about three concerts a year and no prior experience is necessary. I just have to figure out how to get in contact with them.
