A Doctor Who Survey:
When did you begin watching Doctor Who? (how long ago? what season?)
Well, when I first starting hearing about Doctor Who, I was fairly young, maybe 7-9 years old or something like that. Basically it would've been when the series have just been revived. I don't know who the Doctor was at that time. Anyway, when I first started watching Doctor Who officially, I watched "A Christmas Carol" last year and continued onward into Season 6.
Who was your first Doctor?
The Eleventh Doctor, played by Matt Smith.
Is he your favorite Doctor? If not, who is?
Yes. He's *my* Doctor.
Who is your favorite companion?
The Tardis Team - Amy, Rory and River. If I had to choose my favorite out of the bunch, I would have to go with River Song.
Did you cry about any episodes? If so, which ones?
I don't know if I actually cried during any episodes. I think I may have almost cried during my first time watching "The Doctor's Wife" (6.04), simply because of how emotional the relationship between Idris and the Doctor got. I loved their interaction with each other.
Were you sad to see Ten regenerate into Eleven? Why or why not?
It was sad to see him go, but I think that that regeneration of the Doctor's had gone through quite a bit and it was time for a new chapter in his life. Plus I'm sure it won't be the last time we'll see Ten, if Moffat does indeed decide to do a multi-Doctor episode.
In five words, how would you describe Doctor Who?
In the words of River Song: "Mad and clever and wonderful."
What is your favorite episode?
"The Doctor's Wife" has officially made itself my favorite episode of the entire revived series. I think it was mostly because of the interaction with the Doctor and the Tardis, in the body of Idris. This whole time we've seen the Doctor's adventures and feelings with all of his human companions, but for once in the entire series, we truly see how close the Doctor has gotten with his first original companion - the Tardis. And in some ways, the Doctor is the Tardis' first companion as well. Plus it's just funny seeing and hearing how the Tardis/Idris reacts to the companions (i.e. calling them "strays" and considering Rory "the pretty one"). Plus I think we see a whole range of emotions that the Doctor goes through ((probably more emotions than we see in "A Good Man Goes To War," in my opinion)).
Do you “ship” any characters with each other?
Eleventh Doctor and River Song. I also like Amy and Rory.
In regard to shipping, how do you feel about the following [common] pairings: Ten/Rose, Nine/Rose, Eleven/Amy, Eleven/River, Ten/Master, Rose/10.5?
In regards to the relationship between Rose Tyler and the Doctor, I think I felt more romantic connections between her and Ten, than I ever did with her and Nine. Personally I'm glad that Rose indeeded up with human copy of the Doctor. The Doctor deserves a much better "mate" than Rose Tyler. *shrugs*
Eleven/Amy - I never truly saw them having a romantic relationship. I can understand Amy's confused feelings for the Doctor in the beginning though, because... well... the Doctor is quite a fine specimen. wink But they'll always be friends to me. Really close friends.
Eleven/River - Already mention that I ship them.
Ten/Master - No, no, no.
How often do you think of Doctor Who? (Does toast occupy more of your thoughts, or does traveling in the TARDIS define your entire existence?)
Haha... well, lately Doctor Who occupies 60% of my thoughts. 20% goes to normal life thoughts. 10% goes to Torchwood. 10% goes to whatever other franchise(s) I love.
If the Doctor were to show up next to you right now, what would you do?
I'll be shocked, surprised... and probably confused at first. Then once the whole appearance thing settles into my mind, I'll probably get excited and be prepared to join the Doctor on whatever adventure he's got for me. And my catchphrase would be: "Where to, my friend?"
Would you be willing to be a companion?
Of course!
Do you like Ten?
Yes, he's my second favorite of the Doctors I've seen.

What are your theories about Series Six, if any?
The Doctor killed on the beach at Lake Silencio is not the real doctor; it's actually his Ganger. Um... other than that, I don't have any other theories.
Do you like the Master? If so, do you like him more than the Doctor?
He's alright. No, I love the Doctor. The Master is just "meh."
Are you afraid of the Sil— wait, what was I asking again?
The Silence. You were asking if I was afraid of the Silence. And no, I'm not.
What actor would be your choice for the Twelfth Doctor?
I haven't given it much thought.
Do you prefer the Classic series or the revived series?
I've only seen the Revived series... so far.
Do you watch the related series of DW, such as Torchwood, the Sarah Jane Adventures, or Doctor Who Confidential?
I love Torchwood! I was able to watch the first two seasons because my friend owned it, and have watched the third season and the newest season online. I also watch Doctor Who Confidential.
Do you have episodes of DW or its related series on DVD or on your computer?
No.
How often do you watch DW?
Every time there's a new episode... or I'm in the mood to watch an episode of it.
What are your opinions of River Song?
I love River Song! She's one of my favorite characters.

I love the soundtracks by Murray Gold. I listened to Chameleon Circuit's music... *shrugs* It was alright to listen to.
Do you, or would you, wear DW-related jewelry, clothing, and/or accessories?
If there was actually any Doctor Who merchandise available in the stores, and not just online, I would be going crazy with Doctor Who-related items.
Do you think it would change the show too much if the Doctor regenerated as a woman? If so, how and why?
Haha... it would certainly be weird for the gender change... but certainly not impossible, since the Doctor does mention in "The Doctor's Wife" that he knew a Time Lord who changed genders during regeneration.

Hmm... two. Though it wasn't the same type of love I had for the guy that I got heartbroken over.

Honestly I wouldn't consider getting back together with any of my exes, but if I absolutely had to choose one... hmm... I would go with "Shadow." I think we had the most in common with each other and actually understood each other's feelings. Not to mention we actually were good friends before starting our relationship.

Two people who have been friends for sometime and have good chemistry with each other. They trust each other and are completely honest. Their love for each other is genuine and stay true to each other, no matter what concerns and disapproval other people may have about the relationship. Each person is willing to work together to compromise or work on improving issues. Yadda yadda...
The perfect date?
A movie that both of us enjoy and then a candlelit dinner afterwards.

"Shadow" and I went for walks at the trails here in town a lot. Guess that's as close as a "special spot" you're gonna get with us.

There's not really any emotional attachment with my ex and that spot, so I have no problem taking other significant others there.

Benedict Cumberbatch basically sums up what I'm looking for in a guy. Not everything is nesscecarily a required quality... but... it's basically what I like.
