Practice LSAT day today, and another one on Sat. morning, then 6 or 7 more throughout the next two weeks, and then the 26th is the real test and my nervousness is starting to double everyday...

I know I can get a 160 or better, I know I can.

In good news, football season starts today!! GO STEELERS!!! AND even better than that, hockey preseason starts in 5 days for the Pens!!!! Too bad I won't be able to watch non-nationally televised games for either sport seeing as I now live in Chicago.

New supermarket in town: verdict: Fresh Market = yuppie food. Delicious yuppie food.

Also dangerous as pomegranate abounds. But in-house sushi chef? I can live with being able to pick up unagi rolls.

On the medication front. Not a whole lot of difference in the ADHD realm yet, but dry mouth and decreased appetite either has started or it is a strong placebo effect.

Oh silly mother. Helping out with O Week isn't like in high school. I can't just go and help. To sign on, you had to take these intensive full day sessions to even be qualified. rolleyes

Good academic advisers, who really care about the students they're advising, are pretty much the best thing ever. heart

We get to go look at a house on Saturday. I'm already half in love with it from the pictures. It deffinatly needs work, but it's on 2.5 acers heart on a culdasac heart . The realtor said that it had been cited by the city for the paint , we'd change that anyways, and that there may be mold eek . We'll see, I don't think we'll find another house in our price range with that much land.
Sounds great smile . I'm so happy for you.

Well, since the fire we decided that we didn't want to rent anymore. So we're looking to buy a house. Best part his parents are giving us $10,000 for a down payment heart My in-laws are awesome. And his mom is letting us stay at her house, with all of our pets, until we find our own place RENT FREE. We help out with the yard and house work and buy the groceries. She's also using me to help her get a dog. I get to drive an hour and a half with her to meet with the rescue group and meet dogs they think will match well with her.

That's so awesome! <3

Last weekend I went to see the Auburn v. LA Tech game. It was sweet. I actually understood what was going on! (For me, when dealing with sports, that is a good thing.)

My friends ought to be coming this weekend which'll be cool. I hate not knowing anyone around where I am.

I drop in on mine every few weeks; she likes to hear how I'm doing in my classes. Today, she suggested I apply for a job at veterinary offices (like if they need a receptionist or something), pet grooming parlours, and pet stores since I mentioned I was looking for a job. And she offered me her daughter's unused bike when I told her I'm bus-dependent, if her daughter's okay with it. heart

Oh, wow. That is a good adviser!

I worked at an Animal Hospital for the better part of a year. It was a really relaxed environment and there were all the animals! I hope you manage to get a job and that it is pleasing for you! Are you working towards becoming a vet?

I KNOW! whee

Nope, not working towards being a vet. Have zero interest in biology, and an LD that makes math difficult enough that I'm working towards a BA instead of a BS. But I'm really, really good with animals and I've been around them literally my whole life. She suggested it when she saw how I dealt with her skittish new puppy. ^_^

LSAT? What's it for?

Law School Admissions Test. Gotta take it if I want to go to an ABA approved Law School in the U.S. of A. or Canada.

Ah. From your post on the lab coats, I had assumed you were medical. xP Good luck!
