Of course, I spent the day making white peach jam with cloves and a clove ginger peach pie.
Yummy. Remind me to share my peach-blueberry cheesecake Pie recipe with you.

Indeed.

My pie didn't set up that well, but that's mostly because it was thrown together with leftover peaches from the jam making operation. So it's more like baked peaches with crust, which in an of itself is delicious. So I'm happy anyways.

I think peach and clove has to go on the board as one of the awesome fruit/spice combinations. Even more than peach and ginger. It's just as good as apple and cloves.

When they archived the forum in one of the 2004 updates they shifted a bunch of the old threads into a date glitch.

Does it mean that I'm old for remembering when it happened?

Nope, you're only old if you were a member before the name change.
Man they used to have an Irish forum back then.

gonk I don't know if I was ever considered a reg. I don't post anymore but to poke my head in from time to time.

EDIT: I might be getting the set of knitting needles that my great grandmother had! whee

Husband and as picky of eater as me.

Oh! xD

I had looked up the word prior to posting and came up with "a structure, usually made of steel, which is used to lower things over an edge of a long drop off" which made me go 'Wha?'

I borrowed a copy of the Qur'an a couple of semesters ago for a paper I wrote on themes of redemption in Kite Runner and in Islam. I spent a bit of the semester reciting verses in Arabic on the lawn for a friend.

Ah, crap. I forgot my copy of the Catechism, the Mormon Bible, and the Satanic Bible. stressed Ah well, I'll have to get them next time I head home. At least I remembered my teas (floor sweepings xP) and hot chocolate this time!
