When I checked my settings, I saw that the only thing that could be preventing me from singing your post was it not being whitelisted. I expected tits, not a flag. xP

lol, it was a flag and a song. I removed the song, but I think I'll put it back until I can find what I really want.
You're not gonna find tits in my sig. lol.

Aino Ailill Are people here majoring in languages/religion/history?If so, what is it that y'all plan on doing with the majors? 0 I'm studying Computer Forensics right now. Hope to turn it into an position with the FBI when I get my Bachelor's Degree. Hardly the norm around here I think smile
Aino Ailill I am on a Bio track right now (pre-pharm) but science doesn't interest me all too much. (Well, I love chemical equations, studying genetics, doing experiments, and such. Just, most of it I don't like.) However, the aforementioned areas do. I just don't know what I could do with them to make a living after highschool. As for wondering what you're going to do, I know the feeling. This is my third attempt at a degree. I'd sit down and talk to a counselor about your interests. The best advice I can give I got from some "getting ready for college" thing:
"There will always be classes that you don't like, and they will be similar to getting your teeth pulled. However, if its related to your major, something is wrong. If it IS your major, something is VERY wrong."

I loved being a neuroscience major, I could not have picked a major I liked more than that. However, there were certain requirements I had to meet. I had to take general chemistry. I don't particularly care for general chemistry, and in fact, while taking it, I didn't much like it. Maybe it was because I was a junior in a freshman class, or that it was my third time in a general chem class - having taking academic chem and A.P. chem in highschool. But I did not like it. And I could not get into Organic Chemistry without first taking gen. chem; nor could I finish my neuroscience major without taking gen. chem. and O. Chem.. Now, organic chemistry was completely different, I fell in love with O. Chem right away.
Yes, I agree that there will be classes you don't like, but sometimes you have to sacrifice that for a major you truly do like.
If however, you find yourself generally not liking your major, then I would fully agree that something was wrong.

Point taken, but I think its supposed to relate more to the "support" classes you need to take, rather then the core classes.
For example: My degree has me taking several Criminal Justice classes, and a law class I finished last semester. I also needed to take Intro to Psychology. Psychology was one of those pulling teeth classes, but it was a pre-requisite for a class I'm taking this semester. Nothing necessarily wrong there, but if I was miserable in a Criminal Justice class (like I said, I'm aiming for the FBI), then something is probably wrong.

saint dreya Aino Ailill I abhor the spelling of 'through' as 'thru.' Fech! "Through" is for scrabble. "Thru" is for writing.
Eddie Izzard But you spell 'through' "T H R U" and I'm for that, because we spell it 'thruff', which is kind of like trying to cheat at scrabble..
XD
