Yesterday I was showing my parents the pictures I took during my day out with the girls. I had drawn the Tardis on the chalkboard at the frozen yogurt place we stopped by, and had taken a picture of it. So I'm all like: "Look at the Tardis I drew!"
My Mom's like:
"What did you say?"
"Tardis."
"What's a..."
"Tardis. Time and Relative Dimensions in Space. It's from Doctor Who."
"Oh..." Then I showed her a picture of the Tardis from the outside and then the inside. And she's all like:
"It looks like the genie's bottle!"

This whole process of trying to talk about Doctor Who - or even Torchwood at that - with my parents isn't going very well.
My Dad keeps making Star Trek references or can't wrap his mind around why humans are on other planets wearing clothing from past eras.
My Mom just looks at me like I'm speaking some alien language.

Oh! Yes, yes, yes! Doctor Who and Big Bang Theory crossover. Or at least a reference to Doctor Who by the characters in Big Bang Theory. Maybe have the guys dress up as Doctors... and do Doctor Who related games or something. And of course they have to pull Penny... and maybe the other girls? into the whole "party" as the companions - because we know almost all of the companions have been female, lol.
Not surprised by Matt breaking things. He openly stated he's clumsy and has broken both the sonic screwdriver and parts on the Tardis. ^.^;
Ooo... what could this secret be?
