You mean this? I think it's also been interpreted as female reproductive organs. If that's not what you're thinking of, I can have a looksee at my "Offerings to Isis" book and see what matches that description. There were tonnns of different amulets in use in AE. I only wish I knew how to cut raw gems in the shapes of some of those amulets.

Yeah, that's the one, although the one I was looking at wasn't as nice.

You might be able to get away with making them out of something like Sculpy and inlaying them with the appropriate gems, at least for a start.

rmcdra, according to The Crystal Bible, it relieves emotional and mental stress, as well as aligns you with a higher power (then again, almost every stone in that book claims to align you with a higher power.)

If you need HP Photo paper, I can send you unbelievable amounts. Every time we buy cartridges, it's cheaper to buy the pack with 500 photo sheets in it, and we run out of cartridges about once a month.

That ... is a possibility. I use the photo paper when I find good images (usually vintage photos) for use as images of the gods. Just need to see what I need reprinted, and what images I have that I want to use.

edit: and SWEET! my latest amazon coupon code came in. Now....religion, YA or fantasy goods?

I haven't finished the last one yet. Other books keep popping up (Holly Vo's Tithe, Pride&Prejudice&Zombies, and now a book on cycling culture....Kerenyi's taken a back seat, since it's hard to read inbetween calls) so, yeah....I'll decide when I finish my current books.

So, I'm getting my irthday presents early. New iPod (which I'm loading with some podcasts and the like) and I'm thinking about getting a few books off Amazon including Triumph of the Moon. I love that book so much. heart

True Colours of Destiny
But I believe Atlantis existed! gonk

And Mu....
One of my near ancestors left to find Ys for the last time, he either did, or he died trying... or hid himself in shame.
Mayhaps, when I get the last of his notes, I shall follow him.

As for Aliens, I am more than open to the possibility and more than half way expect it.

Tea, I know all about car troubles. sad I hope Haddie gets better soon.

Also - I finally found a very dark French roast coffee that I like. I'm free from the American drip-coffee-that-might-as-well-be-bad-tea. xd

I got my husband his B-day present early. Dissidida, I think that's how it's spelled. He hasn't put it down, he is radiant in all his fan-boy glory. I don't expect to be able to hold a conversation with him for at least a week.

Hm...I don't know if I'd make the zombies book a priority. Everyone I know who's read it was very disappointed. This coming from people who either love Pride & Prejudice, Zombies, or both.

There is only one section open each for two Spanish classes I need that are prerequisites for all other upper division classes. Because I could only get into one, I'm going to have a 5 hour break in between classes on Tuesdays, and a 6 hour break on Thursdays. sweatdrop Boredom, I know thy name.
