worththemonsters @ Tumblr I’m still confused as to how River doesn’t recognise Rory as her Dad? I know there’s some sort of explanation, because Moff doesn’t make mistakes like that. But what?
The first time that real Melody/River sees her father is still undetermined. Considering that Astronaut Girl (who many believe to be Melody/River) only had a picture of Amy and her baby self among the pictures and none of the father, it might explain that she doesn't know her father at that point. So... in that case... Melody/River would have to be older than Astronaut Girl's age but younger than Victorian Dress River to have met her father.
*shrugs* It'll all come together in the end, I'm sure. Moffat is pretty good at close loose ends fairly well, unless he wants it to continue onward into the next season.

prisonerofsnazzkaban @ Tumblr River only met the Tenth Doctor once, so couldn't she have guessed that they hadn't met yet? wouldn't she understand that he couldn't know how their relationship would grow after he is regenerated?
