I would have let the dog kill the muskrat. My farm dogs Bingo (RIP buddy) and Flip killed a lot of groundhogs, possums, rats, raccoons and 1 skunk over the years. The previous pair Muppet and her son George were excellet at catching groundhogs. Once they killed them we'd toss them on a spit and cook them up for the dogs. Still do when Flip mannages to kill something. The barn cats also used to leave piles of dead rodents, birds and amphibians by the main door of the barn. Nothing like coming in at 5:30 in the morning, flipping on the light and finding a pile of corpses stare

Muskrat bit the dog too. She gave up after that lol . My dad only went after it so it didnt crawl somewhere hard to reach before it died.

Ah, I see. Can deffinatly understand that one. Our remaining farm dog, Flip, won't go after anything that makes it to the water. He's terrified of water, and he's a lab cross xd

Well I talked to Lupis. He....apologized for what's he's said to me. He's realized that treating people like dogs is wrong...and I've accepted it. He seems to be converting to Christianity. He's found peace with it where I felt chaos. I've felt peace with paganism where he found ******** I feel like crying now.

Psychiatrist put me on Prozac today. I was mistaken about the medicine. I do have to pay, but it's only a dollar. A dollar for a months worth of meds is still pretty cheap.

Hopefully it helps. I'm still within the age range where Prozac (and other SSRIs, I believe) can cause problems, and make things worse (such as causing suicidal thoughts and tendencies, amongst other things), so I have the other people I live with on watch duty for me, as well as monitoring my thoughts myself.

My grandma's in the room with me watching Rescue Me so she'd think it'd be odd making tea and I don't want to wake our puppies..I just feel like s**t now after all the things I said about him and to him.

It's funny I'm interested in Paganism and he was once interested in Paganism and he's delving in Christianity when I converted. We are opposites in a sense..there's some funky balance between us. I dunno..it's weird.

I'm glad you've got people on watch. Do you have a safety contract in place as well? Often that can serve as a solid deterrent to get you through a dangerous period.

I treat most animals better then humans. Havens my pets eat better then I do. Espicially the mice.

I finished the Sky/Air Aspect symbol recently. It's basically reverse aligned Sea/Water symbol wise, because of the behavior of air (the sky acts like a sea of gas with flows and currents).

So far, it seems to have worked. I channeled Air successfully three times in the last week as a test. Going to continue testing that.

I also figured out, based on my understandings, that tattooing an Aspect or Essence symbol doesn't really imply ownership unless the Aspect is sentient and regards that sort of thing that way.

But one thing it does do is interfere with channeling other Essences and Aspects, because the symbol's presence disrupts the process of affinity adjustment and energy flow. This is especially bad if the Aspect or Essence has a strongly opposing affinity to another one.

Yeah. If I start getting bad, I've promised my psychiatrist I'll contact him right away, rather than do anything, and if he's not available, go directly to the local ER.

I'm not sure if any of you are close to Baltimore, but this saturday there will be a Dionysian revel of some sort around 8pm at William Blake Lodge.

Right, so, just to see how much of a soul I have left, I watched Millenium Actress and Tokyo Godfathers back to back today.
I had forgotten how much I enjoy stories by Satoshi Kon.
And by enjoy, I mean break down into a blubbering mass of tears and chest cramps.
For those who enjoy Anime-drama, and haven't seen the aforementioned, please do. A crowning moment of heartbreak followed by a crowning moment of heartwarming... yep, damaged as it is, soul's still there.

I remember seeing Tokyo Godfathers. Of course, my brothers and father didn't like it, because of the queer themes in there. I loved it.

And Fiddler, your soul is very precious, especially to many of us here.

So, I applied to Visiting Nurse Services here in Rochester. And I think I got accepted into the training program, thanks to some very kind words on the part of my pastor who used to work with them for years. If I pass that, I'm officially hired!

I'm really excited.
