Kitsune_Lunami Gho the Girl Kitsune_Lunami Awws. How awesome. I'm not able to get a job down here yet... been trying 11 months now. Everyone who's hiring, gets taken before I get there, and how good is it going to be to see a nearing 21 year old without a High School Diploma... =/ Why not try and get your GED? To get my GED, I need money. Money I do not have because I do not have a job. A job I do not have because I am technically a high school dropout, and that looks bad on applications to even the smaller places like McDonald's or another fast food or convenience stores and the like. So, without a GED or HSD, I'm stuck in a little loop, hoping my parents can eventually get money for me to get a GED so I can take the classes and be done with it. As for my "dropping out," due to some constant moving, I was never really able to finish high school. I'm going to avoid the story as that would seem rather silly to post it up here, and I'd rather not type it all up. Let's just say that in about 21 years of life (as will be the case September 2nd), I've moved approximately 34 times. Needless to say, that causes some issues on as far as education requirements among several states. Round here, GED tests are free. It's the prep classes that cost money, and you can usually find test prep books at the local library. I have a friend that dropped out at 17 and she's nearing 30 and still hasn't gotten her GED. She works as a cashier and as a bus monitor for the local school district. She's frustrated at her lack of job options (she loves the monitoring though) but refuses to do the work to get her GED. Don't be her. If you'd like, send me your local details and I'll do some legwork for you into GED prep or free testing in your area.

Calixti Recursive Paradox Calixti TeaDidikai Celeblin Galadeneryn I swear, someone should make road signs. "Hey Loser, What part of how equating a culture to swindling is offensive don't you get? Signed, Reasonable People." "But I don't care about the history of the word or how offensive it is to those people! It's not how I'm using it and everyone should adopt my cultural understanding and ignore the hundreds of years of hate and murder!" As if it's possible to use a word independently of its cultural context? Yeah, that kinda makes no sense. neutral "I think I live in a vacuum! Also my brain is one." *gigglesnort* That would've been very unpleasant if I'd been drinking tea when I read it. xD There would have been the reverse of a tea vacuum near your mouth. XD

maenad nuri I so need to cut my hair. I'm thinking this: bit.ly/zBET7 I haven't had bangs in forever, any thoughts? It's really cute. So cute in fact that the only think keeping me from adding it to my list of hairstyles to eliminate for my own hair cut is the fact that it would be weird for us to have the same hair style. x_x

I had a good day out shopping with my mom. She picked up school clothes, and school supplies for the kid, and when we went to the grocery story, let me pick up a few things to try before he starts on his diet.
I got juice box size things of soy milk, a box of cereal, frozen waffles, cookie mix, and gummy bears. He is currently going to town on a bag of the gummy bears, so I can assume they are a hit.

Hair twins are awesome. Now I just have to decide on a color...and harass the Paul Mitchell School.

We've already found some places around here, and I don't know if any are free or not, again, as you said for the GED test and prep classes. But, I can't get to the library around here because my parents haven't even shown me where it is yet, and they know I'd like to go. I'd walk there myself, but walking in unfamiliar areas isn't my strong suit, and I easily get lost. On top of that, I'm not yet sure of the requirements I'd need. Either way, I'll have to wait from word from the place who holds it, apparently in a church not too far from a friend's house. They've already proposed living arrangements during the week should I so choose to take the tests there.

....I R SMRT! Locked my keys in the car today at work. Didn't realize until I got off of work. When closest set of keys were hours away.
Thank goodness my friend was off of work today and I could hang with her until Davit came back from Rochelle so I could get into my car.
EPIC. I just got home. And I think it's straight to bed.

TeaDidikai Recursive Paradox Hemp milk. Not as tasty as I would like. Also expensive as ********. Not sustainable. The draw back of not having Grocery Outlet back east. Yeah really. My calcium needs are really not being met (were really never being met because my IBS just dumped any milk I drank out of my system). With the higher chances of osteoporosis from MtF hormone replacement therapy, the need for a stable calcium source that doesn't go through my intestines at warp speed has seriously increased. >.<
