So I sign up for the local pagan email-list/social thing. Kinda cool, I guess. I make my introductory post and ask if there are any local resources that I should know about. I say I am a Hellenic Polytheist.

The resource someone suggests? A UU church that caters to eclectics.

I want to try the local pagan scene. The one in normal wasn't too bad, even if it was spearheaded by a kook with the triple moon tattoo on her forehead.

she was a bit kooky. trust me. Wren was very nice and we were in her house every so often (until she lost it) for public rituals.

I think you have to be a bit kooky to lead a local scene.
