Okay, yeah, need to organize the PFRC Illinois Meetup.

My place isn't very big, but I do offer it up. I'll take y'all to Maggie's or Medici's or something. Curry fries...

Illinois is not all that far from Southern Ontario >.>

You know what feels good? Buying about $250 of groceries and only paying $80.

I went to buy $30 worth and then got caught up and bought twice that. At least some of it was cash for tomorrows farmers market.

Also? Might have to try and travel for a Meetup in IL.

My problem is that I am really only content in a very specific climate- and I need to be near the ocean. ninja

Not that I am aware of.

We have them here. They are Love. Basically: think Big Lots only for food.

I can point you East or West. Eventually there is ocean.

I can point you East or West. Eventually there is ocean.

That's part of the problem. There's east, there's west, but there's no Ocean!

Save for when I lived in Europe, I have always lived in a Coastal state.

If you're within sniffing distance of a farm--or, in Bellevue, the dog food factory or the above-ground sewer drain--then yeah. Especially on hot summer days. Downtown Lincoln, where I live and go to school, it's mostly the smell of exhaust. Offut, lots and lots of jet fuel. xp

We get the delightful smell of burning swamp wafting up here whenever they decide to light the Dismal Swamp up. And the marshy smell of wetlands. So it smells like the sea pretty frequently. And sometimes like the sea, and burning a**.
